Thats what i said last week, the move just doesn't make any sense for him or Chelsea at this stage.
I think it was a lot of money for us to spend on someone who could go either way too. Obviously has a lot of talent but his career could stall here if we make a big name signing.
Perhaps best for both parties in the end. Just a shame it gives Villa a boost.
