4-0 today on the attacking front, with all that money you’ve spent as well

As much as I'd still prefer the Berties to win the title out of the two, at least Liverpool will have earned it if they do it. Haven't had it given to them on a silver platter like the plastic club have.

Either way it will be funny. It's either 29 years for the scousers or Pep failing to retain and thus matching Fergie n Jose.

Eric cool it with this ballocks about ffp. It’s boring. Liverpool gets millions from tv money, all clubs do. Who the Fack cares anymore. It’s all greedy and corrupt every where you look. I couldn’t care less where city or PSG get their money.

Joining us the even bigger one sadly. However we knew our time would come to an end eventually. But we'll be back.

Liverpool get millions from TV deal? City get the same you fool as it's shared plus the other stuff. Not difficult.

If you think Qatar n UAE haven't made the playing field uneven then you're a Muppet. They have spent more money than every club in Europe over last 5 years despite not being remotely the biggest clubs. Of course it matters. It's financial doping.

I don’t really care. As others have rightly or wrongly alluded too, FFP “appears” to have been designed to keep the establishment rich and disadvantage everyone else. Where they get their money from, I don’t really care. You are correct in that it gives them an advantage, but that’s life mate. Happens in business all the time, and that’s what football is these days.

Let the little rascals have their day. They’ve been so hard done by over recent years, only finishing second, then only challenging for a European spot the year after. Rough times as a football fan 👊

Financial doping isn’t a thing, it’s a phrase that Wenger made up that has been adopted by people that seemingly think it’s real.

Sorry, just irritates me when people use it!

United are yesterday's news.

Any City fan will tell you that the first fixture we look for at the start of the season is now Liverpool.

Of course financial doping is a thing. What else would you call what’s happened to your club over the last decade?

posted on 9/12/18

Of course it bloody isn’t, it’s a a stupid term that were it to exist would apply to any club that has ever existed and any form of public or private investment.

I can forgive Wenger a bit as it could be argued it’s a second language thing. Anyone else that uses it is a moron though.

Liverpool fans love their history.

I wonder if they think being propped up by the Littlewoods empire was financial doping or just a business investment?

Why?

Financial doping includes City's circumvention of laid down rules which was specific to City and maybe PSG.

In any case, just because it can be applied to other clubs (it can't) doesn't mean its not financial doping.

posted on 9/12/18

They changed the rules retrospectively, City didn't break them at the time.

If the case went to an actual court of law it would be thrown out in minutes.

No it doesn’t, he made it up ten years before those rules were even in existence. He meant it to mean any money that came from outside of a football clubs operations, which would mean every club ever has been guilty of it, that’s how stupid it is.

Stupid people have then taken that term (which doesn’t exist) and try to put a definition to it as a way to somehow make out football is any different to any other business, despite those same clubs being the ones that got rid of the rules that actually made it different.

It’s moronic in the extreme.
