Didn’t you see a totts player throw a banana at PAE last week.

Saw the incident at the time and wondered if it might have been racist abuse he was receiving.

Anyway, doubt things are as bad as they were in the 70's with incidents like this fairly scarce,

I think if you were to ask most black footballers of a certain age, the guys who are going to know better than us, they would say that the climate has improved overall in the last few decades.

I doubt it, only because they were not around a decade let alone 3 or 4 decades when it was bad.

I can tell you though that as a non white match going Chelsea fan and still a current season ticket holder, things have improved a lot. There are still idiots though but they get away with less and less.
