Yeah because those 300 minutes cav has had compared to Costas 1000 minutes proves that of course.
Not forgetting Cav was the much better player last season of the two but don't let that block your agenda
I don't think there is much between Cav and Costa, either could start for me, and either could make a difference or not.
So Costa starting is no biggy.
Neves really hasn't hit the heights of last season, his free kicks are not threatening, his passing today was very hit and miss.
It is Neves for me that needs to click back into gear.
Boly certainly got away with one with his elbow on Perez. Do wonder whether he will get some retrospective punishment
Don’t think there was any intent in Boly’s elbow
I don't think Boly mean't it, so probably not.
But should probably have been a penalty.
Can we all write to our MPs so that we can have a change to the Wulfrunnian calendar, in which we go straight from October to December?
Under this legislation we would be in the top 6 now and on course for a European spot.

That was Coady’s 150th appearance for Wolves. 👀 ⚽️ 🏅 🏆

Take that month away and we have had a pretty sensational season. Three points at home to Bournemouth next week and we will go above them, and maybe another team or two as well
Amazing that Wolves have matched Albion's total of 6 wins from last season and it's not even Christmas! 🤣
Thank you Bute, I will take that comment as your Xmas present
Has anybody heard from the bogshites? They seem to have gone missing ???
Rafa doing his nut about VAR and how he was robbed by a red card that wasn't and a Boly elbow that should have been a red card and pen
Rafa reckoned Lascelles was close enough to get a tackle on Jota, no way
For a stats summary
Possession 50% each
Shots Newcastle 12 Wolves 13
On target Newcastle 4 Wolves 6
Pass completion Newcastle 79% Wolves 80%
In attacking third Newcastle 53% Wolves 67%
Saves by keeper Newcastle 3 Wolves 4

Looks fairly even to me but you seem to have forgotten one side had ten men for a third of the game.
And the ball was in our final third more than it was in theirs today.
I thought our midfield was poor today and we had no hold up play from Adama up front. I didn’t think Saiss looked that solid other than winning a few headers and thought Neves was below par.
Moutinho, MGW and Jiminez all made an impact and improved us when they came on. Jota looking back at his best was another bonus.
Still, three points when below your best is always a bonus. Think against Bournemouth Nuno should go with:
Patricio
Bennett Coady Boly
Doherty Neves MGW Moutinho Vinagre
Jota Jiminez
Think that looks our best team at the moment.
And Doherty is already my player of the season. 5 Live was interviewing a “happy” Karl Henry after the game, who was recalling the time when MM signed the Doc. Where he gets his energy from, no one knows. 🐝

Yeah agree with that line up, especially at home where we should be pushing the tempo
Does anyone else yet think Traore was an expensive mistake?

Think he was played out of position today, so wouldn’t comment based on that.
I am not sure where he fits here. Obviously has bags of ability, but doesn’t seem to work hard enough off the ball to ever make use of it in this system at the moment. Whether that can change over time remains to be seen. I think he is worth sticking with as if something clicks, his pace and dribbling ability are a threat to anyone.
Yeah not basing it on today so much but just not impressed at all, his ball use is pretty poor and he just seems like a deer in the headlights to me half the time not knowing what he is supposed to be doing.
I will be surprised if he ever becomes a regular starter at this level and wouldn't be surprised if we managed to ship him out next summer.
Alright fat boy ?

I thought yesterday’s game went pretty much as expected, apart from the red card. The team was selected partly because of the hard game against Chelsea a few days before and partly because Nuno expected Newcastle to have most of the ball, as will be the case in most away games. Saiss was selected to sit ahead of the defence and Traore to use his pace on breakaways.
Good play from Costa and Jota gave us the lead and then Rondon was in sparkling form for half an hour and that lead to the equaliser. I posted during the first half that if we could keep the score level until the hour mark then start using MGW, Jiminez and Moutinho we could go on and win the game. And Jiminez hit the bar, Jota was fouled when clean through and their keeper made two excellent saves
Personally I would have been happy with 1-1 but the late winner was a great bonus
