Sterling’s insta today is eye opening for media outlets

What was said, has it been confirmed

If it is racist they should be charged with the relevant crime.

The newspaper Sun is a racist paper. Look how they have portrayed the young black guy Adarabioyo when he bought a house and the other white guy Foden when he done the same.

Yeah, it's something I've always wondered about myself.

Even looking at a few players United have had over the past few years. Because no one gives a shīt when a young white player dances on Instagram, gets a weird haircut or drives a flash car. Yet the likes of Pogba, Lingard and Depay have been subjected to some ridiculous criticism for those kinds of things even from our own fans, because apparently it means they are spoiled, selfish brats who are unprofessional and don't care about their football.

Maybe I'm wrong, and if there's one thing I hate it's people trying to find racism where it doesn't exist. It's just something I've always pondered.

I don’t know why he gets any abuse of Liverpool fans anyway.

So he left for City - big deal. They’re the top dogs and offered him a better chance of silverware and great wages which no sane man would turn down.

We took VVD off Saints and Barca took Coutinho off us.

Most LFC fans said he’d never get in the City team and would be replaced before long but let’s give the lad credit. He’s been a revelation and is arguably the most dangerous player in the Premier League today.

As for the abuse yesterday and the banana incident last week - the best response for Sterling is to do his talking on the pitch.

John Barnes was a master at it amidst all the abuse.

Come on metro you know there is a right way to leave and a wrong way to leave. Alonso was a model pro for us and I still admire him after he left us. Sterling and Torres can go to he'll though.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No issue with him leaving but having a unsanctioned BBC interview about leaving was the last straw. No other player has taken that step before and he deserves the none racial abuse we give him.

Foden bought the house for his parents.

As did Adarabioyo according to Sterling

I’ve got no problem with a player wanting to leave. But the way Sterling went about it was shiite. Both him and his agent disrespected the club and fans. Others have done similar, Torres, Owen and Mcmanaman for example, and not got the warmest of welcomes when they come back to Anfield.

....

Always thought the same. You’d never get the same reaction to a white player dancing or getting a hair cut.

Sterling left us and it did leave a bitter taste in most of our mouths

It’s normal he gets stick from us but to be abused for race / religion etc is disgusting

It’s irrelevant what’s he’s like as a person as no abuse of that nature is warranted but to be fair to him he actually seems like a decent enough lad - yes he’s not Mr Personality but so what - he’s become a very decent player indeed for them

Metro has no understanding of the game other than from his armchair so I wouldn’t take too much notice of him - some of us have played a little and understand rivalries, build ups, the smell of changing room, s#it showers, tiny changing rooms - a different experience for him is going from Sky to BT 😂😂👍

As much as i hate Sterling for leaving us, i totally agree with his view of the media. The news outlets, especially those owned by billionaire moguls, have been churning, regurgitating and feeding the sheeple with bulltish for decades and they appear to have upped their game even more in this new age of social media communication. If you're one of those idiots buying trash like The Sun and Dailfail then you are part of the problem

Nonsense city did to us what we did to QPR when we signed raheem. He did nothing wrong in how he left and has improved as a player at city under pep.

Good luck to him he's a decent lad and a great player.

You don’t see what Metro said wrong .... fair shout

Most on here know he’s my brother. He was about 1 when we signed our greatest ever player - Johnny Barnes ... that’s the first thing

He then says he doesn’t get why reds have a go at Sterling - that’s because he doesn’t really understand football - sure he likes football but that doesn’t mean he gets it

posted on 9/12/18

But the abuse he was subjected to at SB yesterday was disgraceful, all because of the colour of his skin.

You're the WUM mate. Everything you said is conjecture. You trivialise serious issues to score points. Why? I think it's because YOU are an idiot.
