Good ask👍

Hard to believe Sterling was abused for the co!our of his skin in 2018 when the white brits players are the minority too.

Without black and foreign p!ayers,,there would be no chelsea, Arsenal,,Liverpool,,Utd,,Spurs etc.I

It a fan thinks skin colour is relevant or a reason to abuse players, stay at home in your cave👍

The newspaper Sun is a racist paper. Look how they have portrayed the young black guy Adarabioyo when he bought a house and the other white guy Foden when he done the same.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Foden bought the house for his parents.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
As did Adarabioyo according to Sterling
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What did the Sun say.....black players should not buy houses as this is a white only privilege?

I heard Sterling claim the media are racist towards young black players, but in what way?

Genuinely have no clue as do not read Sun etc.

Sterling's comments came the day after police in Scotland arrested two fans for allegedly directing racial abuse at Motherwell substitute Christian Mbulu during his side's defeat at Hearts.

In his post, England international Sterling cites newspaper headlines about team-mates Tosin Adarabioyo and Phil Foden buying houses.

The headline referring to 21-year-old defender Adarabioyo - who is on loan at West Brom - focuses on how he spent £2.25m on a property "despite having never started a Premier League match".

By contrast, midfielder Foden, 18, "buys a £2m home for his mum" and is later described as having "set up a future".

"You have two young players starting out their careers - both play for the same team, both have done the right thing, which is buy a new house for their mothers who have put in a lot of time and love into helping them get where they are," Sterling said.

"But look at how the newspapers get their message across for the young black player and then for the young white player.

"I think this is unacceptable, both innocent, have not done a thing wrong but just by the way it has been worded, this young black kid is looked at in a bad light, which helps fuel racism and aggressive behaviour."

Sterling seems like he likes a quiet life to be fair and I don’t think he would make this up - I’m not his biggest fan but I do believe him here

Every club has fans that embarrass them

Well it's been caught on camera so it's a bit hard not to believe him. Actually, I don't even think he's the one who reported it.

Don't have to be a lip reader to work it out, it's clear as day.

I didn't like the way Sterling left us for Man City but understand why he did it.

What he said about the newspaper articles about the two players buying houses was spot on.

The headline about Adarabioyo came across as negative, yet Foden buying a house had a positive headline.

The big chant that was sung around Stamford Bridge by the Matthew Harding stand was "Raheem Sterling he runs like a girl". So Jimmy tell me what is different between that and your greedy Barstuard song? You and many others report it like the whole end let alone stadium were being racist which was far from the truth. I despise racist as do many near me but don't tell me we are the only club with a minority with this problem cos I'd tell you you are a liar.

Sterling parted badly with us.

Unfortunately he's proven time and again a crowd can get at him.

Some people see this and obviously have a go in a racist way which makes no sense bar they thoight that was their way of putting him off.

There's no excuse

But the abuse he was subjected to at SB yesterday was disgraceful, all because of the colour of his skin.

stop making stuff up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Stop trying to be a wum, you haven't even got the basic intelligence.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're the WUM mate. Everything you said is conjecture. You trivialise serious issues to score points. Why? I think it's because YOU are an idiot.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, I still think you haven't got the hang of it yet, Brenda, but keep trying.

Trying to convince you that racism is a very serious issue, for all clubs and fans must be beyond your comprehension.

Poor wee thing.

There are only a handful of people that are blaming all Chelsea fans.

This incident doesn't make all Chelsea fans look bad in the same way not all Spurs fans are to blame for one fan throwing a banana skin on the pitch.

I have no gripe with Sterling leaving. He was the best player in our team for that first half of the season before Rodgers threw him under the bus with his contract situation.

Maybe the way he left wasn't the most professional but he had to act (on advice from his agent) after the manager low balled him.

The guy was racist point blank period. Anyone or any chelesa fan that think otherwise are silly. The guy who has been accussed is the same guy that supported the Racism for the Black man on the train in France. And a Racist will always deny his wrongs of course.
