Publicly slaughtering his players.
Never ends well when that starts to happen.
I think he has to take some accountability for chopping and changing the team every week.
That boy Goldson has been getting pelters on twitter the past week.
A win on Thursday though and everyone is back onside.
I won’t believe any disharmony about a dressing room until Kris Boyd says it.
It was an interesting interview actually. I thought it displayed the absolute helplessness that managers must feel when the players go from doing the right thing one week to the wrong thing the following week. It must be so frustrating.
Possibly a wee bit naïve to be so open publically but I sometimes wish managers were a bit more open rather than just repeating the usual platitudes, so I shouldn't really complain.
Past couple of games now where he's blamed his players and said they haven't followed his game plan.
Wonder how long he can keep using that excuse?

I must admit there’s not as many chortles or chuckling as in the past couple of seasons but im sure its only one game away.
More managers should do it and stop treating these players that are paid a small fortune to do a job with kid gloves. If they aren’t doing their job, the manager is right to say that.
It’s not as if the fans and media aren’t slaughtering them already anyway .
I mean Goldson yesterday, is Gerrard meant to praise him letting the ball run thru when he could just clear it?

Players don't take it well when you publically slaughter them.
I don't think he mentioned anyone by name yesterday so I don't think his interview was that big a deal, but if he singles players out then he'll get a fractured dressing room very quickly.

he was a weasely wee whank of a player as well, a terrific footballer but a diving, cheating, wee scrotum.

I think Kent is one, however he was injured for a few weeks. Aye terrible clause in any loan deal

“It should make my job easier going forward because there should be less knocks at the door.
“If players are honest with themselves and watch that performance back I don’t really think they’ve got a leg to stand on.
“But I welcome the knocks because I’ve got all the evidence and the ammunition to maybe show them why they’re not in the team in the future.”
He's spot on in fairness but like i said, it's when you do that in public, a lot of people then start to question how the dressing room is.
