He has a gambling problem?

It’s not just the gambling. His mental state has been deteriorating for some time and his mates alerted the police he was missing on Monday night.

He was found a few hours later but he’s in a really bad state after what he’s tried to do to himself.

I hope the rumours about gangsters being involved are untrue but it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s in debts to some bad people either.

Rodgers said there was an incident not too long ago that brought it to a head originally and senior players got involved as well.

Jez NNH I hope the rumours aren't true, I am glad that as a society *on the whole* have moved to recognise the impact of mental health and have become more understanding and supportive. You never know what is really going on behind a person's eyes ☹

Tonight will be though I suspect we will edge it though 👍

NNH, through here in Edinburgh there are so many differing rumours swilling about it's difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff, a few mates know him and especially his family from way back so I assume over the weekend there will be a bit more clarity, all I have taken from it so far is that it's disturbing what with social media just how much pash gets passed off as fact with some folk through here who should know better.

Tonight will be a toughie, they look a side that is probably more of a Champs league team than a Europa so any result, draw or win would be decent, bought new leggings for under the jeans so good to go

Yeah and they probably don’t have tickets so they did go to sing a song

Don’t think anyone is asking for him to be liked.

A bit of respect when it comes to mental health issues would suffice.

One moron on twitter has a pinned tweet about her brother committing suicide and then yesterday tweeted fluck Leigh Griffiths, he’s a waste on society

Swiftly deleted by her of course but it highlights how far some people still have to go.

All the best to Griffiths.. as someone who suffers from depression and has put himself into stupid amounts of debt through gambling, I can empathise with him.

Thankfully times are changing and mental health is slowly but surely being treated as physical health is.

Both teams still have a good chance of qualifying which i think both teams would have taken at the start of the group stages.

Just hope we can do it tonight to continue the feelgood factor at the moment.

I'd hate to go out tonight going into Sunday's game, could be a disaster of a week.

Andy Halliday did say he expected 'carnage' from the Gers fans.

They are unlikely to disappoint.

Aye you'd be absolutely beeling if that happened to you.

The fans on the flight are booked on a flight from Munich from today at 3pm so they're unlikely to make the game

The few away games in Europe I have been to seem to bring a certain "type" of fan out their box, maybe its the time they have for a peeve, the excitement of travelling abroad or just that a few are total erseholes I don't know but missing a game because fellow fans have fcked it up would seriously rankle with me
