So AJ suddenly very interested in fighting Wilder after he loses to Tyson Fury.

posted on 14/12/18

didn't realise wilder was so old, been fighting for nearly 11 years now, aj would smash him imo, fury unfortunately didn't have the power to end him as he connected flush plenty,

posted on 14/12/18

11 years it took him to fight someone decent and even then that's in their first big comeback fight after years out the sport battling all kinds of personal issues.

Wilder is a paper tiger.

posted on 14/12/18

exactly, its actually shocking watching him swing punches, I by no means am any type of boxer but watching him is akin to a strong man trying his luck at boxing and due to lack of competition actually getting quite far because he has good power, him swinging at someone when their in trouble is similar to those random you tube fights you see, don't get me wrong he has a lot of power but fury a few years ago would have shut him out imo

AJ wants to fight Wilder whilst he still has a belt and is relevant cos after he loses to Fury his appeal drops massively.

The Fury fight makes money regardless of if he has a belt, a belt doesnt make any difference to the PPV buys with Fury IMO.

People who right of Wilder against AJ are clueless.... Fury is far far more elusive than AJ and Wilder still landed on him... If he can land on Fury (al beit eventually) then he can land on AJ.

For me AJ/Wilder is a 50/50 either of them can easily KO the other. You kinda have to favour the better boxer which looks to be AJ, but Wilder will KO AJ IMO if he lands clean with one of those windmills

---------------
a lot of furys movement is exaggerated just for the sake of it and that movement someone walks him into things that if he's standing still he wouldn't get connected with, yes he's hard to hit but he's no where near elusive as he was a few years ago(understandably)

he is was and is still far more elusive than AJ, like I said if you think that Wilder cannot KO AJ then you are clueless.

I still favour AJ as I said but those who write off Wilder dont know much.

Really cannot wait to see Wilder knocked the faaack out. With skinnier legs than my Nan, there is no chance he gets up from an AJ punch. Guy is a fraud with no boxing ability whatsoever and his one trick windmill punches. Fury beat him easily despite two knockdowns but didn't really have the punch power to knock him out. AJ however does.

why do you keep calling people clueless? its not really a leap your taking saying another hw can ko another hw boxer is it? is it possible yes will it happen probably not, imo wlad is a harder puncher than Joshua and aj was able to survive him

again if you think it was easy for Fury to get up in the 12th then you know nothing.... there is a reason that everyone is praising Fury to the hilt for getting back up. I was shocked and though never been a big Fury fan its kinda hard not to take a shine to him after getting up from that after being genuinely out cold and eyes rolling.

and if you think fury was genuinely out cold and got up within 5 seconds then I think boxing is not for you, respect for him for getting up but despite it being a nice narrative and for some fun memes/gifs no one in the history of boxing will or ever will get up by the 10 count after being knocked out cold

I have said that if people think Wilder cannot KO AJ then you are clueless...Wilder is capable of KO'ing anyone and I will say it again if you dont think he is then you are clueless. However people are saying that he has no chance against AJ all im saying is that you do truly beleive he has no chance then indeed IMO you are clueless when it comes to boxing.

AJ is favourite IMO yes, but I say it one final time if you rule out Wilder and his power then you are CLUELESS.

IMO Fury was out cold for a bit .... ps I boxed for about 4 years before going to Uni, studied karate for 8 years and also taught beginners for 2 of them.

ok, ok so if someone is knocked out whats the minimum time they can be out cold for Dr Kaz?

So just to clarify are you saying that Wilder is incapable of KO'ing AJ ?

posted on 14/12/18

Not one person on this thread said that Wilder could not knock AJ out before you started your meltdown. Just read back, no one said anything like it.

posted on 14/12/18

its definitely more than 5 seconds, the human body when out cold by a punch doesn't react how furys did when you try to get up so soon, you lose control of your body movements even when you wake after the initial ko so it wouldn't have been physically possible for him to actually get up within that timeframe and actually be ok, that's called being knocked down and getting up

you dont venture on many boxing forums then ......

I havent accused anyone on here of saying it, but there are plenty out there who are saying (majority of them are casuals to be fair) which is where my point comes from.

Someone replied to MY post not the other way around. My comments where not directed at anyone on here as you will see if you read what I wrote.

If you or Kaz both agree that Wilder is capable of KO'ing AJ then what I wrote is not directed at you.... simples

What are you talking about you faacknuckle? What has Wilder's awful boxing IQ got to do with Fury? Fury is a natural boxer and he deserves huge credit for getting up from those punches. Where have I suggested otherwise? Wilder has nothing else apart from power.

Ahh so you just made a general statement without any evidence behind it ... got you. You are saying that things are impossible with absolutely no evidence to back it up. People are all different people react completely differently.... ie Khan reacts completely differently to being hit than most boxers !!

Again tell me where I said ANYTHING about Wilders boxing IQ ?!

So you have attacked my post for what I said ie that Fury deserved massive credit and then agreed that he deserved credit?!

All i have talked about in terms of Wilder is his power so again you agree with my points.

I dont get what you are attacking?

And I stand by my point if people dont think Wilder can KO AJ then you are clueless.

But neither of you disagree with this so I fail to see why you are attacking me for saying that, like I said MANY MANY people think this on boxing forums, I can only guess that you dont visit them or you would know this.
