Joshua V Wilder April 13th?

Typical AJ team BS this. Venue and dates booked when Wilder was preparing for his biggest fight with Fury and now they are making out that the ball is in Wilder court.

One thing about team Wilder is that they will not be bullied. They can book and say what they want but a lot of the talk is BS from Hearn and now AJ.

I’d much rather see Wilder V Fury 2 anyway.

I think either fight being made will be good.... Wilder and Fury both have much better hands to take to the table now.

Both know a rematch generates better money than the first fight, and can use that in the negotiations with Matchroom.

Personally I think Hearn was shocked at how good Fury looked and knows that AJ could really struggle with him. They want that belt and I think they know its easier to take it from Wilder than Fury

A lot more pressure on Matchroom to make the fight now. Both Fury and Wilders camps, fans and friends are all banding together to get involved with them both.

It makes it harder for Hearn to try and lowball them both and at the same time there is more pressure to get the fight signed.

you get used to it...its always been like this with boxing. Social Media just highlights it far more nowadays.

Bowe v Lewis was worse than this.

Its the same with judging you just get numb to it... I gave up getting raging at the sport a long time ago.

I just laugh at it now which is part of the problem. I would love to see a boycott of a fight just to stick it to the promoters who pay off judges.

yeah agree orange, another thing I don't like in the sport, certainly from Hearn is all this purse split rubbish, I totally get that AJ holds more cards etc etc.. but for the sake of the sport, the fans, you'd think they could just agree.

truth is, I'm not sure anymore that any of it is real, I'm sure AJ and Wilder are like best friends and having a good laugh at the fans

on a different note... AJ vs Wilder is a very difficult one to call, I know Wilder has these amateur swings but if he caught AJ, he'd be down, and I'm not sure he'd get back up like Fury did.

on the other hand if AJ catches Wilder flush, he'll unload on him and prob finish him.

it should be a brilliant fight, if they ever make it, I wouldn;t be surprised if Wilder was in with Peter Buckley next

iv always wanted mandatory splits something like,

35% or 40% each with the winner taking the remainder of the split. But again that just encourages corrupt judging more possibly.

Different governing bodies doesnt help either... there is plenty wrong with the sport sadly.

I alos think that Wilder is now at the stage where it will be plenty of big fights.... he is getting towards the latter stages of his career soon and he has now made a name for himself, he can demand bigger paydays and will now be looking at his bank account post boxing I think

totally agree orange.

The sport of boxing does have its flaws, and the split you mention I've said a few times on here that should be the case, if things like this were more clear cut, we could actually see the fights that the fans want to see.

unfortunately I'm not sure we'll ever see the judges issue resolved, as I guess its how they see it, or how they say they see it. even very recent fights, Fury vs Wilder, Conelo vs Golovkin 1 and 2, and even you could say Connor Benn vs (forgot his name) in their first fight were controversial.

its not like any other sport in the sense there is a score board, you score a goal, you gotta goal, simple as that

the judge who had Wilder up , have you seen his scorecard?! he had Wilder winning the first 5 rounds !!!!

thats just cheating IMO pure utter blatant cheating, even if you dont know the criteria for scoring a boxing match 4/5 of those rounds were clear Fury rounds.

Would rather see Wilder vs Fury again.

Hearn and AJ coming across quite desperate recently. They know they are being frozen out.

posted on 14/12/18

orange, no I've not seen the scorecard myself but I've heard, its disgraceful - thing is its really difficult to prove he was cheating as he could just say 'that's the way I see it'

Viva - I don't think they are coming across as desperate, as its what the fans want too. I feel its just more and more hype to add to it, and its very very frustrating!

Fack Joshua, he was well up for calling Fury out when he was out of shape with his “Fury where you at?” After one of his fights and his ‘get fit you fat fack’ tweet, yet now he is back, all of a sudden there’s no value in fighting him because he doesn’t have any titles?

Not too sure why Joshua is dismissing lineal title holders like it’s absolutely nothing either considering he was the chief beneficiary of Fury beating Klitschko in the first place. I’d rather see Wilder vs Fury II than Mr Media-trained fraud who tries to pretend as if having his boys round to smoke and sell weed was on a par to growing up in Compton or Inglewood ffs.

Before the Wilder fight, Fury had been floored by Steve Cunningham and got up to recover and win.

AJ took monstrous shots from Wlad in the 5th and was hurt but didn't go down before being floored by a fight finishing Wlad right hand in the 6th. AJ got up, recovered and won. What exactly is the basis for the belief that, even though Fury got up from Wilder's power, that AJ couldn't?
