Wenger always been ahead of the times.
I think it's changed a bit now with the advent of City and Chelsea. Two big clubs will miss out every season so it seems more of an achievement now if that makes sense.

Top 4 is not a trophy and we won't be getting either
Top four is a fair bit more competitive now but at times Arsenal finishing top four was still a decent achievement.
