Will be interesting to see, I was felt like Pogba, Martial and Rashford were being shackled by Mourinho and his defensive demands.
Not so much Lukaku, he is just gash
Will be interesting how it goes now.

Tbh I dont think yoyr players look very fit. At all.
In fact Martial and Lukaku are in the top five for least yards run per minute which simply shouldn't happen at Utd.
Football really us a game where you can just be better by being really fit. Whoever comes in needs to sort that imo.
Lukaku will now hopefully spend more time on the bench, no touch, no vision, not a great work rate, the other 2 can blossom without the chain of Jose around them
In fairness to Lukaku while there are aspects of his game that are simply not good enough for a level striker he’s the all time leading scorer for the number 1 ranked nation in world football and is one of the highest scoring strikers in PL history at his age. He’s obviously not totally rubbish.
Not saying he’s the long term answer at United but in the right system he will score goals.

Where did you read these stats? I don’t doubt the validity, would just be interested to view them.
Fitness is part of this, but also instruction not to.
I've defended Pogba more than most but it's last chance saloon now. Needs to grow up or leave.
Martial I feel will excel if the set up is right.
Lukaku will still be gash

Martial has been performing well despite of Jose’s hard work to shackle him and sell him
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd say "quite well".
Martial has the potential to be top/world class imho, so could actually see the biggest improvement.
I am not holding my breath for any miracles this season though, from any of them. It will take a while to sort this mess out.
I think Pogba could see the biggest improvement with the right appointment. There’s been issues rumbling behind the scenes from the very beginning. How things have panned out add a lot of credence to the theory he was forced on Mourinho.
My hope if the next manager can bring out more in the likes of Pogba, Martial, Rashford and Sanchez.

Agree with you on Pogba but the same must go for Martial.
He avoids the criticism Pogba gets despite many similarities

Agree with this. Our players looked so sluggish at Anfield. They do against City as well, and it's not just a case of being outplayed. Fitness plays a huge part.

Less sprints than anyone in the league I think
Don't think Lukaku wasn't trying, he's just a bit of a taty in reality
Wonder how these 3 will perform now.
...............
Martial has been performing. Lukaku won't be any different and who knows with Pogba.
I wouldn't be so fast to write Lukaku off.. Watch him for Belgium and he is a different beast... Skilfully limited, yes, but he can be a real handful.
One of my biggest hopes for the new manager is that we finally scrap the "fake right sided" player that has been with us since Moyes. We need a real threat from the right that will get Lukaku into the game and also provide their own goals.

Has he though?
He’s scored a few opportunistic goals but most of his performances have been quite poor.
Pogba has not been held back. It's just a sheer lack of ability and desire to impose himself on a game.
Lukaku might get more chances and by that virtue goals in an attacking system but we've saw he is a garbage footballer, no manager can fix that.
Over the course of Jose's stay... Martial hasn't performed anywhere close to his potential. A handful of good games during a terrible period doesn't change that (and i'm not digging out Martial... Jose messed him around terribly).

Countless times, Pogba has looked up to see no one around to pass to. How is that not holding a midfield player back?
We have played many games where two midfielders are held back and both wingers forced to stay in their own half. I guess you can say Pogba hasn't been held back... But the entire team was (literally)
I’m not a fan of Lukaku, but he’s much better than he’s been showing this season.
