Sir Giggsy

It won’t be Ryan.

Personally I’d probably prefer Blanc but I’m intrigued to see how Ole would do.

I wouldn't let Giggs or Ole anywhere near it.

What's wrong with either for the caretaker role?

posted on 18/12/18

It's only going to be for 5 months but for that short time the club needs a vastly experienced football manager if just to steady the ship and get some discipline back.

Giggs, Ole, Scholes, Cantona etc would be just lunacy, but the way the club has been run for the last few years it wouldn't surprise me to see any of these.

Blanc stands out for me out of those 3 options just a gut feeling

........................

I don't think either is strong enough to not play the likes of Matic, Groot and Lukaku.

Not been impressed with Giggs for Wales, or with Ole at Cardiff.

So...

Will it be Silent Night, Ole Night?
Shall we feast on Giggs in blankets?
Or are we dreaming of a Blanc Christmas?

That man of football knowledge Paul Ince thinks Steve Bruce should be caretaker manager until the end of the season.

It may sound daft but may not be the worst candidate for that short time.

I’m not overly concerned with whoever takes the caretaker role. I’m not even too bothered about results, just bring in someone who the players can enjoy playing for and allowed to play attractive attacking football.

And there is an added bonus to Steve.

The mess has been created by 3 managers with over 50 years of experience.

Maybe a young, hungry manager wanting to prove a point could actually flourish.

As a caretaker Blanc makes sense.

Wonder what will happen if he actually does well though.

In that case, throw keane's name in the hat

If it’s just a temp gig until May then I’m not too fussed tbh, we’re not winning the league or CL, we’re not getting top four and we’re not going to finish below 8th or 9th, sooooo *shrugs*

Carrick, Butt, Sbragia? Could have Mike Phelan come in and steady it? Ole does have coaching experience but would he be linked if he hadn’t played for us?

Might as well ask Michael Appleton or Chris Casper to come in, they’ve done their badges and have been out on the coaching field
