It seems he spent more time there during the day than on the training ground
Must have got his money's worth. However, he wasn't paying for it, the club was so they'd have some sort of discount

i wonder how many escorts he had up there in that time
with his missus down in London, he coulda banged a few every day, with the missus none the wiser
----------------------------------------------------------------------
More to the point how many different wigs did Wahl have to go through to convince Mourinho he was a different escort to the one he’d just jizzzed over
I think Wahl is distraught right now
Keep hearing this hotel business and it doeant mean jack. Would that make him do a better job??? Ffs
So what, times have changed. Managers get sacked with 12 months these days, why move your whole family just for that.

He was earning £16m a season then £19m a season with us when he got an improved deal.
So £600-800 a day is pennies to him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Which the club probably picked up anyway
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not sure about that. I don't the club pay for all the players houses either pal.
Jose's decision to live in a hotel really. He's clearly not interested in housework and cooking is he? Fair enough if you can afford it which he obviously can.
Obviously he could have bought a house and employed staff too but that was his choice.
I don't think the hotel has anything to do with his demise. I think he's just not gone with the times football wise.

I agree with the rationale behind the hotel, and it does makes sense.
I know for a fact United own 3-4 mansions (£5M+) properties in the Altrincham area (Hale to be precise) which they give to new top signings whilst they look for their own gaff.

I lived in a hotel for two years when I was working in BKK. It was only meant to be a temporary arrangement that my work had organised when I first arrived there but after a few weeks it just suited me and my missus at the time.
I was not going to be there longer than 2-3 years so it actually made a lot of sense. Given Jose was talking about it being his dream job and a sort of expectation of a long term appointment, I can understand why him living in a hotel seems non-committal to the United cause.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Was that Bangkok? Was it the Nana Hotel getting backscuttled every night by the Katoeys (Ladyboys) hanging around outside there and Nana Plaza?

Oh blueinbarca, it never ceases to amaze me how consistently wrong you are in almost every way.
There is no need for the explanation of what a kathoei (the correct spelling) is as I'm reasonably competent in Thai.
Have you considered changing your name to âi kwaii? Sums you up perfectly.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The correct spelling is in Thai, not transliterated surely you should know that?
Have you considered changing yours to 'Ai Hia',as Water Monitor a filthy, dirty creature is you personified?
Btw I speak, read and write Thai.

Hahaha so you ought to know that there is a correct spelling of Thai words after romanisation by the RTGS. Hence, I am actually correct under Royal decree hehehe
Putting aside our bickering for a comment or two, that's cool that you know Thai. What's your connection, if you don't mind? I love the place and if you're Thai or whatever then you cannot be all bad.
I was back there in August. A week in BKK for work and a few days visiting friends in Lopburi and Khao Yai.

I've lived in South-East Asia for 10 years,7 in Thailand,2 in Philippines and the last year in Phnom Penh the capital of Cambodia.
Phnom Penh is an awesome city like Thailand used to be before the tourist hordes descended, one of my favourite places along with Chiang Mai but I love all of Northern Thailand and Isaan.
Despite them speaking Lao I can also speak some of that anyway,I've spent lots of time in Udon Thani,Nong Khai and across the Friendship Bridge into Lao.
Vientiane is a fantastic city also but so sleepy after a couple of days and copious amounts of Beer Lao it gets boring.
I've crossed into Tachilek,Shan State,Myanmar from Mae Sai where those little kids were trapped in the cave the Moo Pa/Jungle Pig/Wild Boar football team.
Chiang Rai to Mae Sai is some of the most stunning scenery you'll ever see but then so is Nan and Loei Province I've driven from Chiang Mai to Udon Thani and Khon Kaen fifteen hours from West to East!
As for the language I did an ED or Education Visa in Bangkok where I lived for three years,I wanted to read and write Thai instead of speak it pidgin and like a bargirl. As most foreigners unfortunately do without realising that 'chan/di chan' means 'I' if you're a girl and 'p 0 m' if you're a boy!
^^banned word (p 0 m) ffs?!?
Even after living in Thailand for 7 years and 2 in Philippines you got all wrong about Myanmar..
