A Defoe type striker was always number one on my wish list. Perfect for us.
Wont expect to play every game. Can rotate with Morelos (hopefully we keep him) and clearly the lad can finish.
I will be pleased if we get this one over the line.

I think our win on Saturday has kept us right in it and cemented the boards faith in Gerrard.
If they were to ask him what he needed to have a right good chance of winning the league I'd guess he would start with an experienced CM who can lead and organise (Davis), an experienced striker who can come in and do a job right away (Defoe) and a number 10 who can unlock defences (?tbc hopefully).
Interesting times....

kind of player that will turn a draw into a win for you in tight games would have taken him at Celtic for the run in no problem

No chance. He's not going to ibrox to warm a bench. He's a certain starter most weeks.
You could drop any of their midfielders for Davis. It's very short term thinking but it might get them the title this year or next.

Short term I would say Davis would come in to Saturdays team ahead of McCrorie.
Even if Defoe only plays when Morelos is suspended then he will get a fair run of games

4 goals in two seasons at Bournemouth. I imagine Rangers have signed him for his physical presence rather than goals as he doesn't seem like much of a goalscorer. Take it he's a big lad?

But hes a fit lad and could chip in with 5-10 important goals between now and the end of the season.
