Well, at least I can watch the game without attending the chitty ground. Has to be a good thing.

Who will be their manager by that time? Thought Rupert had nothing to do with Sky now.

Gotta love Sky

Hate this fixture, so probably won't watch it anyway.
It'll be on dcfc website 48 hrs later, for those of a nervous disposition.

Some pretty offensive asterisks there Vidal - attention catching though it was. Remember, never post anything you would regret your wife or staff reading

Heb, it’s a reference to the chant that was a recent rare moment of bonding between Derby fans and our close friends from “down the road” as Clough junior used to put it.

Ah! I will ask Mrs Heb to decipher when she gets home.........

Suspect that chant may well be aired longer and louder than ever before at the CG. The EFL are equally to blame as I have it on good authority that they actually offer up games and revised kick off times to Sky rather than being dictated to by them.

In a way, I enjoy an El Cloughico under the lights as it adds to the atmosphere but only on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening when it suits the majority and has been penned in the fixture list since the previous summer. The amount of fans this fixture change will inconvenience seems to be quite numerous. Can they afford to keep angering the supporters so much?

It wouldn’t surprise me if this Monday fixture becomes a regular occurrence. I noticed the game at PP passed, thankfully, with no arrests.

Perhaps with work the next day not so much ale was consumed. Perhaps a precident has been set?

Saw a few scuffles on the way to the Merlin afterwards though, Baz.
Police seemed to be enjoying the spectacle, so clearly not enough for an arrest

Why should the police get involved? Let them hit each other with handbags and then pick them up and ship them off to St Mary’s after. Shouldn’t have to get in between morons as they then become the target IMO.

Definitely think a precedent has been set. Most people haven’t got the day off to get lagged up so it doesn’t tend to take the edge of the moron element. In fairness, means less people have to be inconvenienced at places like Long Eaton and Ilkeston where the two sets of fans generally come across each other on the way to and way back from the match at both stadiums.

It’s just really inconvenient for those that have to travel from further afield, unfortunately.
