Harj once asked me on these boards to come over and have a drink with him, as today money was never there!..
He was one of the better posters all the way from the old 606 onto the new, always on the fun thread we had in the old days, a great poster with about everybody, a great loss to all but mostly to his nearest and friends!..
RIP Harj, we know when the time comes you'll be watching!.
What can I say about Harj?
Just a real genuine person. Loved Leeds and his family. Miss his hugs and his grey stubbly beard.
He always took time to speak to people. Me and LIW always enjoyed his company. I’m going to miss him. A lot.
Realy sad news. He was one of the first I talked to on the old bbc606.
RIP Harj
Great poster. We will miss him on here.
RIP Harj
Oh my God. This is terrible news. I feared something was not right, but didn't venture here. What a terrific contributor and fan. Like all of us, I've missed him being on this board. I think it was late '17 he asked me if I was finally going to get to a game so we could meet up.
I was all set to be in Leeds for the game, then something happened that prevented my trip. I was sick, mainly because I was going to get to meet the bloke I'd chatted to since the old Beeb 606 days. Now I'll never get that
privilege.
Can say quite easily, I'll miss that man despite only knowing him on here. Goes to show how much we fans who come on here really do make bonds of sorts.
Harj was one of the best. Loved reading his thoughts and interacting with him. Jonny, if there's a way to send my
condolences to Harj's family (along with all of us), please do.
R.I.P. Harj, you were one of the absolute gems.

So right Jonty. I read the Leeds page everyday first thing after coffee wakes me up.
Harj was a name from the bbc606 days and he used to try his hand at predicting on my very old games, Top 6 Points challenge etc.
I have never met any of the many guys whose names are so familiar over the years but they seem so real and all have our combined passion for Leeds United.
I don't contribute to any threads now as I don't have the inside knowledge of all you actual supporters who turn out on match days. But you all keep me well informed.
All I used to comment was "I live in hope that we get promotion before it's too late for me.
Well guy's here's to Harj looking on when we finally achieve what we all really want. Promotion
RIP Harj and thanks for your obvious passion for the club we all support in our own little or large way.
Really sad news, was a great contributor and will be missed RIP Harj
Gutted to hear of this news. Was a genuinely great bloke and never got on anyone’s nerves and got his point across in a he gentleman-like manner..
We’d often go off thread on this and old bbc606 Leeds board talking about Pakistan vs India every time the great rivals were playing cricket.
Please pass on my condolences to the family.
Batty, Afridi etc., who have asked that condolences be passed onto the family, I have sent a link to this article to Harj's cousin to share with the family.
I am hopeful they will come in here to read the lovely comments you all have contributed and the additional ones that will come in.
MARCHING ON TOGETHER!!! has never been more apt in all my years following this great club!
I could right a lengthy article about my special experiences with so many Leeds fans over the years, which began on the old BBC 606 board, and their exceptional generosity and kindness to me. Me, a stranger and foreigner, but to them another member of the Leeds United family who has been treated like family by many of you (you know who you are) and others not on this site.
RIP Harj. Really gutting to read about this. Condolences to the family. All have our teams, but we’re all from the football family.
Well done Jonny, very classy mate as have all the comments been on this thread.
Following the comment about Shako above, I decided to post a similar article on Not606. Following is the link if anyone wants to read the comments there.
https://www.not606.com/threads/very-sad-news-to-share.370612
Some have mentioned this site on that thread so thought it a good idea to include the link here.
Jonny, I think there is a picture on the not606 site of the 606 football team with harj in it, maybe you could download it and share on here.
Very sad news we have lost one of our own and i really hope we can go up this year so Harj and all those others we have loved and lost over the years will be partying in heaven.
Condolences to all his family and friends.
MOT and never forgotten
I, too, don't post here other than PSD games but check this site daily. I do recall Harj and his dislike for the "cockroach" - found many of his comments very amusing and enjoyable. He has been and will be missed.
RIP Harj and condolences to his family.
"cockroach!!!!!!!!!!!!'
That word and "fook" were his favorites, I think.
I never met Harj, but had a number of good interactions with him on these boards. He had a lot of good sense and knew his stuff.
It's sad that he didn't get to experience what Bielsa has done for the club, but I hope he's with us in spirit!
RIP
RIP old foe
