I think we'll see 2 loans, a keeper and a winger. Keeper from England and a winger from abroad. Just based on Bielsa's interview yesterday, he said we won't have many players but he wants a keeper and a winger.

I can see a loan keeper, an underwhelming signing.

One other, possibly a marquee player. Playmaker. Idiotic not to go for it from here.

I think we will sign a keeper on loan but I feel biesla is really particular on this. Wants someone good with their feet. To be honest I doubt we will sign a winger permanently. And feel the ones we want may be too much brass. If a winger comes in at all it will be late on in the window

Also think if we sign those two and they are good enough then it will definitely be enough for us to win the league

I think we will sign nobody of note, it would be idiotic if we sign a keeper who will warm the bench whilst BPF holds on to the No. 1 shirt but that is what will happen.
In my opinion we are light at right back. Ayling is not the player he was in 2016/17 season and Shackleton isn't a right back, Hosannah seems to have gone backwards this season.
We are one CB light and LB could do with strengthening, no idea why Pearce has gone backwards and Davis is a good prospect but is he ready?
A winger would benefit us, young Clarke is a great prospect but Bielsa seems to favour others. Doubt we will sign a good winger.
Feeling at this point that all the good work is about to unravel.

We will try & sign a MF/W from MB's list of identified options but if he cannot get who he wants we will not sign anyone. He is a very astute man & will have given Orta a list. It maybe a loan if coming from a team in the UK or it maybe a perm deal if from abroad. But MB will not settle for 2nd best. We will not be signing a CB as Coops & Berra back soon.
Alot are going to be very disappointed. I feel that MB is right now reliant on his medical staff getting things right & being confident in their timings when players will be back but again injuries can happen to any player at any time. A club cannot run on hind sight, we have a budget.

Bielsa won't have given Orta a specific list of players. He will have given Orta a brief on the sort of player that he wants, and then Orta will identify options that for that brief and try and sign the best one.

I get that Bielsa prefers to recruit in summer and have a pre season with his players. However, the hierarchy have known for months how paper thin the squad is, highlighted even more by the injuries. I would still be shocked if apart from a replacement for Blackman, any business is done

Think we will sign two:

Reasoning:

Goalkeeper. Bielsa was going to drop BPF the week Blackman got injured. That tells us a lot. We are now in a position where even in BPF gets injured our back up is a young lad who has no first team experience.

Winger/AM: Saiz needs replacing. Klich has gone off The boil since having his kid. There is an inconsistency in Alioski and Harrison. Bielsa seems keen on gradually bringing in Clarke. The reliance on Pablo either from the right or centre is huge.

The keeper is a given. A winger too is a given. I can see players recalled and been given a chance.

Something tells me all is not right with Bamford's knee. Maybe a striker along with a goalkeeper.

Don't think Bielsa will regard the wingers on offer any better than what we have.

On past form we will leave it too late and end up signing dross

He had a setback a couple of weeks ago and should be back soon, probably after playing an u 23 game but not the one tomorrow.

I reckon he might be back on the bench for the stoke game.
