Team vs Wolves

Personally I'd like us to put out a strong side. I think it's important we win and this had banana skin written all over it.

Saying that it would be great to give the likes of Lallana and Keita minutes whilst also resting the likes of Robertson.

Wolves will not knock us out the FA cup again. Strong side has to be. Unless Klopp doesn't learn from his lessons. But I suppose every good manager has to be stubborn, if he doesn't believe in his method neither will the players.

I would like to see a strong side as Wolves are a good team unless they are making changes too.

However, I am worried what an injury to VVD or Lovren could do to our season.

Klopp might be thinking how valuable those 3-4 Saturday off will be if we want to win the league. Plenty of warm weather training for the boys.

With Moreno and Lovren both playing theres a big chance of us losing this one. Unlucky we keep getting the prem draws in domestic cups.

Moreno and Lovren should keep each other company in a taxi

Wolves surely must go full strength here. They are already safe so it would be foolish not to.

Personally I’d give plenty of players a rest. I’d play Sturridge, Lallana, Moreno, Matip. Maybe even Ejaria. And give Brewster a place on the bench.

It’s not that I don’t value the fa cup but it’s the least important of our 3 competitions and we need to use the squad if we want to compete to the end in all of them.

Matip has a broken collar bone

Not a fan of the FA cup or the carling/milk cup what ever it’s called now. The league and champions leagues are what we need to win but I think we need to win this game. Our confidence could be knocked more if we lose this one

Would love to see a lot of the fringe players start but also think we need some experience in there.

Migs

Milner VVD Fabhino Moreno

Lallana Keita Wijnaldum

Big Shaq Sturridge Mane

I’m annoyed that any fan is suggesting we should basically not try to win. Win, and we’re straight back on track, lose and it’s back to back defeats, and that’s not healthy whoever you are.

We’re supposed to be a big club, we should be trying to win every tournament we enter, and be able to put out a good team to achieve this.

I want us to win but I won’t be annoyed like I was last year when we lost to WBA.

End of the day you have to look at the bigger picture. This is our best chance since 90 to win the PL. tough fixture against Bayern Munich. We have a good squad but not a strong squad so players will need a rest. Having the odd Saturday off will be valuable and we made good use of it last year in our CL run.

Unless we win neither and think actually playing five more games over 5 months ain't sh!t and I wish we'd put out a decent team against Wolves. Favourable draw and we'd be having a good chance of a trophy

Klopps record in the FA cup is nothing short of awful too.

I would be shocked if we start anymore than 3 of our regular outfield starters. It's the 3rd round of the FA Cup isn't it? It's a given nowadays.

Numbers might look low but after a gruelling CL game being the so called hunted in the PL these extra games could be a hinderance. Especially if you get someone like Man U in the 5th round.

Not sure anyone is suggesting that are they?

Personally I want to win the game and the competition but we (hopefully) have a lot of high pressure games in the second half of the season and pool of players we use, especially in defence and attack, is small. Not unreasonable to use the squad in a game such as this.

We should go all out to win the FA Cup. At the moment any silverware would be a huge boost. We have gone along time winning nothing.

This is the team according to Evening Standard :

Mignolet,
Camacho, Hoever, Masterson, Moreno,
Keita, Milner, Lallana,
Jones, Shaqiri, Sturridge

That back 5 worries me a bit.
