There's no way surely.

I doubt anybody is going to pay £50m for a 32 year old.

I remember the fuss that was made at bringing Shevchenko to Chelsea for £30m because he was a 30 year old. Cavani is almost 32. That is an awful lot of money for him.

The players we've signed under Sarri so far has been players he's worked with (Jorginho), or young players with potential (Kepa, Pusilic). Take into account our over 30s policy as well, then this rumour is a no show.

Just BS rumours, he'd never leave PSG who are in the champions league.

We should have signed him after his Napoli days but we missed out and now it's too late.

Someone spent €100m on 33 year old.

I bet if Cavani was genuinely available at that price he'd find a buyer

PSG won’t mind selling a 32 year for £50m. He is the lesser of the front 3.

Love Cavani. The ugly faced assassin. Straight out of Narcos. Been beating drug tests for years.😂

He probably would to someone desperate enough.

50m for a proven top class goalscorer is a good deal these days to be fair even if he is 32. I'd rather take a chance on Higuain than Cavani though.

Oh we're capable...whether there's any truth in this is questionable...I've seen a couple of links but it's rumour only

Sideshow why can't Sarri see the potential of CHO and still see the potential of Pulisic? This is ridiculous in my view.Sarri needs a trip to specsavers.

It won't be his decision to sell him...but he should be using him more

He can see the potential of CHO. He said he has the potential to be one of Europe's “most important players”. He's just being more patient with him than we'd like.

That was Ronaldo, they probably made half of that back in the first few months.

An even worse choice!

Higuain is just an ugly Giroud. Have never liked him, But Cavani is a different animal, on his day is unstoppable and just as scary as Diego Costa.

posted on 6/1/19

Higuain actually scores goals, unlike Giroud. Cavani is a top striker as well, but Higuain has outperformed him over the course of their respective careers.

Yeah, one in the last 16 games is it - great return!
