I remember the fuss that was made at bringing Shevchenko to Chelsea for £30m because he was a 30 year old. Cavani is almost 32. That is an awful lot of money for him.

50m for a proven top class goalscorer is a good deal these days to be fair even if he is 32. I'd rather take a chance on Higuain than Cavani though.

An even worse choice!
Higuain is just an ugly Giroud. Have never liked him, But Cavani is a different animal, on his day is unstoppable and just as scary as Diego Costa.
Higuain actually scores goals, unlike Giroud. Cavani is a top striker as well, but Higuain has outperformed him over the course of their respective careers.
Yeah, one in the last 16 games is it - great return!
