Was that Puel’s Wycombe?

Well that result against Wycombe was the start of the end for Taylor. I really don’t know, we have much better players now that’s the difference

Puel should be criticised for his decision making today. To bring Andy King on 17 mins from time when we need a goal is absolutely the worst decision I’ve seen from him

Now he’s brought pressure right back on himself

People on the outside looking in wondering why we want Puel out. Take a look at that. His contempt for the cup competitions is a joke.

This shows the lack of depth in the squad, but there were also a number of players who looked really rusty today: Okazaki, King, James all failed us at crucial moments. Strange decision to play them.

You could argue that any team we put out should have enough to win today, but playing midfielders who haven’t had a first team game for the best part of a year?

Very frustrated. Season over today.

Seems to be for the same reason Southampton wantsd him out, no?

Leicester have more reason than Southampton to feel aggrieved with the shiiiiit style of football considering they have much better players.

Sick and tired of Puel throwing cup competitions with his stupid selections. Showing complete disrespect for the opposition, the cup and most of all the Leicester fans. Pissssed off.

This. Did the same last season AND this in the League Cup quarters. He can go after that result gladly.

Indeed, season over already. Will probably fack up 7th like last season as well.

For God's sake just go Puel

I don’t buy this lack of strength in depth argument. We had Evans on top of the title winning defence. Nacho and Okazaki up top.

Choudhury who’s probably our most in for player.

We have plenty enough talent to win that game of football. That’s if the manager doesn’t sabotage you of course.

You’d like to think it would be his West Brom but it’s coming.

Looking forward to nevs excuses for Puel.

You’ve still got a good chance for 7th, but you have to wonder how motivated the players will be the longer the season goes on with the draining style of football. And it’s not like these players haven’t turned on managers before.

I would prefer it to be his Millwall..

If Puel had been sacked last week, that result would NOT have occurred

Doncaster Rovers fan in peace. Time to put a collective arm around Marc Albrighton. He was my MoM by a mile and so unfortunate to give away the pen.

That's what you get when you take of your right back and replace him with the only player that's creating anything. Should never have been in that position.

If he's kept on until end of season Maguire, Chilwell et al won't be hanging around and I wouldn't blame them. Unfair to call him Puelis - even Tony P wouldn't have made such poor decisions - definitely cost us the game today.

This is my major concern. Our top players will turn their back on us if Puel stays.

So who would you rather win the league then, Liverpool or Man City? Another United fan I spoke to about that said it's like being asked which eye would you like being poked in?

I don't think this defeat will be as damaging as Wycombe was. That was a QF that we lost and the winning goal was scored by someone who answered a Teletext ad. Safe to say, football at the lower end is a lot more professional now.

However, it might do damage to Puel in that I think a lot of fence sitters will now move over to the Puel Out side whilst those like myself who have generally been supportive will switch to a subdued shrug of the shoulders.

The one good thing that could come from this though is that the manager and club see now what an absolute shower we have below the main starting 15 or 16 players and start to shift out some of the wasters and bring in done much better options.
