Liverpool are not the competition when it comes to winning trophies.
Man City are your problem.
Even Arsenal have been top of the PL in January and in all competitions - and finished with just a top four slot.
That's why you're top of the league and cleaned up last season tbf.
We have 5/6 injuries, made 10 changes to the first 11 and still only lost 2-1 to a good wolves side. Had we done that and lost to a league 1 side you might have a point, but unless we suddenly get 10 injuries then it's really not an issue.
Would Spurs have coped in the same circumstances?
“It has to be patently obvious that Spurs, despite all the injuries, have a seriously strong squad, and Liverpool just do not.“
Spurs 1-3 Wolves
Liverpool haven’t had injuries? Missing last night Gomez, Matip, Ox, Lovren subbed after a few minutes. We’ve also had injuries to TAA and Lallana.

Yes, Spurs have, they have played four cup domestic cup games away this season (if you include the game at MK Dons), Watford, West Ham, Arsenal (all prem sides) and Tranmere, with weakened sides, and won the lot. Big difference Spurs have the squad to cope, despite having lots of injuries.
That's why that squad cleans up every season.

There is no etc, etc and you've certainly not had twice as many. You've made that up.
Spurs have also lost more games this season so I'm not sure how all this works?
It also doesn't make sense that this amazing squad keeps winning nothing.
It really annoys me when I hear a pundit or see the papers quoting that we have the weakest squad out of the top 4. It's really not the case.

Milner, Fabinho, Keita, Shakiri have all played in the first XI this season, so how come Liverpool have suddenly made 10 changes. Also Salah and Firmino both came on. So Liverpool finished with a lot of their first XI on the pitch. GB said Keita was going to be player of the season this year.

Milner was the only one who started against City, hence 10 changes.
Fabinho was played out of position due to injuries, Keita and Shaq were poor.
But like I said originally, our squad depth isn't an issue unless we suddenly get 8/9 injuries all at once as we're never going to play that side in a league game, and even then we narrowly lost to a decent wolves side.
Ahh yet another sandy article that looks like it will be about Spurs according to the title, and then is actually about Liverpool. Keep them coming.
