Just clicked the link and immediately noticed the article was written by a woman so didn’t bother reading it. Should’ve known when I saw it was The Guardian.

She thinks Poch should stay at Spurs, so you
Don’t agree then Ace?

Why would you go to Real Madrid, where they change their manager every other year, or to United where the rebuilding job is huge? If I was Pochettino, I would stay.
...........
That part shows that person has next to no clue at all and I know she is a footballer.

The article is all fluff, just like all the articles saying he should leave, this one just says the opposite.

The bottom line is none these facking journalists have a clue what's going on, but that won't stop them from saying whatever comes into their heads.

Ace, I don’t know if you have ever noticed, but nobody actually responds to Hafi everyone ignores him like he doesn’t exist. He just rambles on talking to himself.

I think he'll stay at Spurs and rightly so!

Such a windup article when someone starts with Spurs' to win the title

She makes fair points. Though I’ve always found it odd that it’s never framed as a rebuild when talking about the positions that Spurs need to strengthen. In the coming seasons Spurs are going to need to almost rebuild the midfield and back four.

Jose down tools when we didn't sign a CB. This after signing plenty of players, two of whom were CBs, in his time with a few managing to be decent under him.

The weird thing is, his signings have looked better under Ole than they ever done for him (minus Lukaku and Matic, the latter who tends to start well and then fade).

You just have to look at each season in its own merits. City won the league easily last season, yet aren't as strong this year. Liverpool finished fourth and now first this year. We finished second and now we're 6th. Chelsea won on Jose's returned, then finished outside the top 4, won the league under Conte and then dropped off again. Tottenham have been consistent in staying top four the past few seasons but don't seem to be investing to take the next step.

That's the crucial bit. Poch will stay if your chairman is willing to back him. It may mean cashing in on a player or two (could probably get around £100m for both Alderweireld and Eriksen) and reinvesting it into the squad as Liverpool did with the Coutinho money (and they did the same with the Suarez money, but that didn't turn out too good). Spend it wisely and you could be looking at a title challenge in a year or two.
