Always said it's the away support that determines the size of a club, and we're massive, Derby like many are nowhere near.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You would say that as your home support has been bang average bordering dire until this season
----------------------------------------------------------------------
lol you have a 'singing section' in your ground.

pipe down lad.

Surely you see the hypocrisy in this statement? Derby fans not exactly renowned for their high gates, are they?

I used to sit in the west stand before it went corporate and although old, the atmosphere was miles better and the odd pillar really isn't an excuse not to go either.

Excuses excuses.

I can only speak for myself. I take myself and my two boys to a fair few away games and I've been to Elland Road plenty of times over the years but it's just not a pleasant place to go for away fans and the last time I went I just thought that there comes a point when you have to say that as a customer paying a lot of cash you deserve better than this. The facilities are dreadful as is the standard of the enclosure and the view of the game, and the tickets are far too much, not that Leeds are unusual in that respect. Win or lose I haven't enjoyed it at all. Derby vs Leeds is still a big fixture for me but I will go to Hillsborough or Bramall Lane any day of the week rather than Elland Road because even though they are both old grounds they are both far better for away fans.

Me too Harrogate.
I used to have a season ticket in the West Stand 'B' block & it was the best atmosphere i've experienced only for Ridsdale the muppet to change things around & kick us all out.

It’s not fair to compare the Derby away support with Leeds United, we take more to Mickey Mouse pre-season friendlies than most bring to ER.
Ticket prices are expensive but that’s not an excuse for passionate football fans, especially when the allocation is only 2500
Forest didn’t sell out either but sold around 1900 I believe
Hope you have sold more than the 800 that you brought last season.
The PL doesn’t need yet another club that can’t sell away tickets.

It’s mentioned it’s an older and not modern ground.

On a personal level I love that.

It reminds me of days gone by, makes it sentimental and more attractive.

Only wish is they brought back the old scoreboard above the Revie with the dancing men when we scored.

I’m 36 by the way. Probably made myself sound 100.

I remember taking my family a few years ago and paying a fortune - to be sat - LITERALLY behind a fking
Pillar!

Awful dated, ground, rip-off prices, on TV. No trains back to Derby late.

It’s called a boycott. Look in the mirror you robbing bstards

I had season tickets as a kid in the west stand. Found the atmosphere steady. Was back in there for a game last season and felt the same. Less intense than the Revie.

I had a season in the North East corner. Didn’t like it. F or tight and a crap angle.

Best was Revie where I was for years. About 40 rows back just to the right of the goal. It was a tough, sometimes unfriendly and intimidating place even for home fans. But it was worth it for a those “mayhem” moments such as last minute goals.

Oh no. However will we cope without you.

If people from Derby are too cheap to support their team then so be it.

As I pointed out, Huddersfield is a similar distance trip and we always sold out. Leeds should look at why that is although I presume they already know.

I imagine a large portion of it is not really caring to be honest. They sell out crowds of home fans, so a few Derby fans not wanting to back their team probably doesn't bother the higher ups.

Maybe you would sell out if you were top?

They spend most of their money on Mint Sauce to accompany those Woolly objects.

Prior to last season, Derby's average attendance had been higher than that of Leeds for 9 consecutive seasons. It's great that so many are realising that they are Leeds fans, now that they look like they have a chance of promotion, but you wonder what kind of fans they were that couldn't be bothered at all until very recently.

Derby have had cheap season tickets and even got them free with mobile contracts for years

Away support is appalling and the atmosphere is garbage both home and away

Grubby little club with a flat pack stadium

Home crowds have been artificially doped for years

posted on 11/1/19

Is that so, LIW. Were Leeds' crowds artificially reduced? 2015/6: 21,667 for example?

"Grubby little club". Dearie me!

Poor little direby fans complaining about prices and experience. Plastics or what. Go to support your club for ffs... literally heard zero Leeds fans with such excuses when we were in league 1.

Isnt the truth that your still wetting your nappies after having constant nightmares after we beat you at home this season? Was that experience good enough for you and Leeds 4– 1 surely value for money

Whinging caaats

It's like Doncaster Rovers stadium, but with a different colour scheme. No atmosphere at all.

Yes because of highest ticket prices in league and bad bad owners
