Plus we didn't support each other in retrieving the 2nd ball. Like Leeds did, maybe this was because we were isolated chasing them as opposed to pinging the ball about ourselves.
Welcome back 2W - how we have missed your monolithic diatribes
This is just the warm up View
Oh n cheers mate.
Mount isn't the force he was earlier in the season, Bryson isn't the force he was 5 seasons ago. Evans isn't anything really. If we were going to hit them on the break then sure Hudz should have been on to play those longer weighted passes so we could get behind their defence.
Yeah I agree Spart maybe that's my frustration not knowing exactly what we were trying to do. I guess he sees Evans as faster but think Huddz passing would have given us more respite than a fast Evans chasing shadows.
Oh Lordy - What a boring post!!!!!
Wellies; are your comments always this dull, or is it just when you've been battered by far superior opponents?
I nodded off half way through your 76th paragraph and woke up hoping your post was only a nightmare... but the only nightmare tonight was the pathetic display by Frank Lampard's Dorby Carnty as they were taught a footballing lesson (again) by the best team in the division.
As for thugs... what a laugh!
I'm hearing the words "grapes" and "sour".
The Rams were at it from the 1st minute, when they should have conceded a penalty and thanks to a shocking refereeing display, somehow only ended up with 4 yellow cards. when 7 yellows and a couple of reds would have been a more accurate reflection.
Your manager has conceded that you were mullered by the better team... but he didn't bore everybody to tears in his assessment.

How very dare you Smoggy! 2W is a leg-end in his own lunchtime on the Derby forum
Sour grapes and still gets his feelings hurt by being called 'thugs' ...bless. Would you prefer cynical??
I prefer to be a leg-end around elevens-ies Scouse building myself up to the lunchtime thing.
All day Satdee to be miserable now as well.
I'm starting to feel a bit better now. Wrist slashing has decreased to disappointed I imagine there'll be a 5000 word article on the positives to take from yesterday by tomorrow.
I do think CM needs a look at and we need to focus on our movement in the final third though.
Z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z
Bielsa’s ‘Spy’ is reason you lost.
Outrage!!!!
I’m not really sure what to make of the whole spy story. I’m not sure if any rules have been broken but it has certainly ruffled some feathers. Frank was clearly fuming about it, don’t think it had any bearing on the result because unless our tactic was to roll over again then Bielsa would have learned nothing anyway.
If the guy was trying to break in then that’s a different matter altogether. Either way a big deal will be made of it but ultimately nothing will come of it.
5 stars cracking article I’ve also nicked it, everything I wanted to say 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Not intended to provoke - just something that many might not be aware of:
Perhaps someone should remind Frank Lampard that Chelsea had something called the Opponent Observation Department headed-up by Andreas Villas-Boas under Mourhino.
AV-S quote:
“My work enables Jose to know exactly when a player from the opposition team is likely to be at his best or his weakest,” he explained. “I will travel to training grounds, often incognito, and look at our opponents’ mental and physical state before drawing my conclusions. Jose will leave nothing to chance.”
I don't recall Frank complaining to the police or the press during those days?

So you're saying that Lampard knew about all that?
Lampard didn't complain to anyone let alone the police going on from what he's said in interviews.
As far as I'm concerned They guy filming the training had no baring on the result, Derby didn't turn up simple as...
This wasn't a case of a guy with binoculars viewing from the road side. He was found on his hands and knees by the fence and in possession of pliers. I think you could infer from that he wanted to gain illegal access to the training ground. Obviously from the comments from Bielsa and Pochettino this is normal practice in Argentina. He has probably done it before. Leeds owners have acknowledged this and apologised to Mel Morris. Hope Bielsa accepts British norms of behaviour from now on. As with Villa-Boas I don't think this football espionage made much difference anyway.
Sorry about last night Frank. I’m doing better this morning though, just needed to vent.
😬
I don't think the spying caused us to lose. We lost because they played better than we did. They we're quicker to the ball, a yard ahead all night, more skilful and they wanted to win much more than we did.
But the underhandedness simply indicates the lengths some managers will go to to gain an advantage. Was he filming? did he want to get caught to cause the distraction he did? Significant questions.
I admired very much the way they played and believe they will win promotion as the best team in the division.
But I do not admire them any more than I ever did. In fact my dislike and contempt has increased. Especially after the goalkeeper extreme violence against Holmes which was as bad an incident as anything I have seen for years.
You lost to a good Leeds side playing good football, any thuggery came from Derby.
Yes, Leeds' keeper did a horrible kick. No excuses for that.
But that doesn't take away the fact that it was Derby who played most dirty in this game. And were lucky not to get a red.
Fact is, 2w, that a team with a newly qualified coach lost to a team with a world class coach. Derby wiped the floor with us last season but with pretty much the same squad, we have become a force to be reckoned with in this division. We have players like Shackleton, Halme and Clarke who slot into the first team like they have always been there, we have the fittest team in the division and our possession statistics are second to none. All of this with an injury crisis second to none - Bamford, Berardi and Brown out for months, with other key players out for 4 - 6 weeks throughout the season.
We all think, 'how are we going to cope without...' and then one of the academy kids steps in and dominates the opposition. It's no fluke. It's Bielsa. Why couldn't other managers do it? They are not in the same league. Bielsa hasn't just transformed the team, he has transformed the club, top to bottom. As someone who was vehemently opposed to his appointment, I can proudly say, 'I was wrong!' The man is a genius. Simple as that. We haven't had a coach this good in 25 years.
I'd love to see Lamps get you up to the Premiership. I liked him as a pro and as a person. I think he will be a great coach if you give him the time, but Bielsa, he is not. Best of luck to the Rams for the rest of the season.
What do you all think of this?
Stuart Pearce quoted on Sky Sports:
"It's not right and proper, from whatever country you come from. It will be interesting to see what the punishment will be from the FA. We've not seen anything as clear-cut as this before.
"If it was me, the team that it has affected the most is Derby, and I would reverse the scoreline. Let the punishment fit the crime. It fits this brilliantly.
Do you think the EFL call him in, and say: 'Don't do that again'. Or I think the way I've approached it, the punishment directly fits the crime in this case."
