There should be, theyre taking the pee, Watford did similar but they took about 40 on loan to get promoted? from teams their owner also owned? Granada and some Italian team? Torino or sumin?
On the other hand i think its at a point now where premier league clubs should be allowed to have their reserve teams in the lower leagues like in spain.
They bang on about English talent not getting enough chances and helping the national team, surely this would help them get professional playing time across the leagues.

They are abusing it, but there’s nothing the authorities will look at as it’s all above board. That said, FIFA are looking at changing the rules to limit clubs to only eight loans per season.
The loan system has a lot of flaws, but there also many benefits. Hard to find a solution to the flaws without impacting the positives.

At the expense of whom and by what merit? Because they have too many players who aren't deemed good enough for the first team? Weird and ignorant suggestion.
Just because another FA does something different by no means makes it something to follow.

What's weird about it? It is successful in a number of countries, why wouldn't you want to implement something that is a success elsewhere?
Problem is the financially doped clubs are just allowed to get away with anything. Football is all but finished as a level playing field. On its current trajectory with the way the money has taken over it will all go under within a decade.

Clubs have to make money. Chelsea use the loan system. Spurs use a Cheese Room.

Spurs play at Wembley, which doesn't have a Cheese Room.
B teams playing in the lower leagues would be a massive benefit to the national team. The Netherlands, Germany, Spain and Portugal use it to their benfit. France and Italy don’t, but given France is a feeder league they don’t need to as the youngsters all get games at a good level there. Italy’s national team is ln its knees. It’s unlikely it’ll happen, but if the FA want to improve the national game they’ll think about it. Though I’m not sure how much influence they can exert over the Football League.
Easy to fix - have a limit say 6 loans out and 3 in.
If Chelsea don't need all these players then sell them and give these kids a chance.
It's just hoovering up ALL the talent in the hope that there might be ONE real gem in there.

That would sort it out. As you say Chelsea have bought as many young players as they can to prevent others getting to them.
When in reality they are playing roulette with these players careers.
I am not a great fan of the loan system anyway in the Premier League, if you are a PL club, then you should have sufficient resources and money to manage with players you own.
Furthermore I think if you loan a player out for a specified time, the parent club should relinquish the right to dictate that the player cannot play against them.
The club has no choice on that, it is the PL who ban players facing their parent club. Arsenal always allowed loanees to play against us before the rule changed.
Most of the players Chelsea have on loan are their academy players.
