Best performance of the season?

I said the same. It wasnt quite as relentless as the Derby /Stoke games at the start of the season but it included game management to ensure we kept a clean sheet and closed the game out safely.

Forshaw was incredible. MOTM for me. Did all the dirty work and more. Won the ball an incredible number of times.

Listening to an interview Parker did with Jansson on lutv was quite interesting.

Pontus said that he has played with Cooper for two years now and he can literally tell what Cooper is going to do due to his body language and how he reads what he is doing via that.

Great to have two defenders with that level of knowledge of each other

A lot of similarities to Fulham when they got promoted. Do you think Leeds would fare better in the PL, utilising the same style as in the championship?

Think those ratings are on the mark.

This the same foreshaw that most we’re writing off. He’s a good footballer at this level, he’s had a few bad games but all our midfielders have generally been good this season.. or we wouldn’t be able to dictate games like we have.

He definitely upped it a notch today, especially first half he was everywhere. Good way to answer the critics.

This style tore man utd a new one with Bilbao. Imagine Bielsa at Arsenal, or Spurs...would win the league! He is a legit elite manager and imo...big shout for best manager in the country.

In the Prem however, we WIL need a few Prem quality players to add to the crop.

Forshaw was ridiculously good. As good as a midfield display you'll see all season, was fecking everywhere. We'd have beaten most Premier league sides tonight. We made a decent side look silly.

Bielsa is top 10 in the world. Hands down

Apparently sending someone to stand on the other side of the road and watch training is spying now

Agree - best performance of the season so far

AND

without arguably our player of the season (Phillips) so far!

He did look quite chuffed though on the sideline after the game though!

I think the opening game against Stoke was superb too.
This one right up there. Played them right off of the park

Mourinho often sent Villas Boas when he was a scout at Chelsea to spy on opposing teams training sessions and produce a report. Who was in that Chelsea team.....oooh, err, Frankie Lampard. So he knows it's nothing new.

One of most pleasing things about this season is how wehave seen players from the under 23s step up.

Clarke is an outstanding prospect. Direct players with pace who can beat a man are like gold dust.If he doesn't play for England at some point I would be amazed.

Think Allioski plays better at LB!

posted on 12/1/19

Alioski been playing very well the last few games. Not really to do with being LB.

posted on 12/1/19

Yes it has. Ive said he plays better when played there. Didn't say he'd been playing bad. No need to shoot me down.

Disagreeing with you doesn't equal shooting you down.

You said it like a statement of fact.

In my opinion he plays better at LB.

I think alioski has been playing better full stop the last 4 or 5 games.... and I think he looks better at right wing and better still at left back.

Think jfh mentioned in commentary a while back that he might be better when he can see the game ahead of him rather than back to goal.

Whatever, he was excellent last night.
