You can't necessarily see all the drivers doing over the speed limit. How many people do you see parked up on double yellows without giving it a second thought? What about the people on their phones on their laps?
Truth is, you have absolutely no way of knowing, so your 'experience' is not really relevant.
But if you actually stop to watch, you'll see the state of driving in the UK is appallingly bad.
