Don’t think this regime will ever deliver mate, until good solid investment is made. Like I keep saying, we need new fresh owners to take over once this stadium is sorted. Levy and CO have done a good job stabilising the club, time for some serious owners to take over and push us up a new level. We will never achieve anything with this lot. Been saying it for years and I think deep down most Spurs fans know I’m right.

I think Levy and Poch long term strategy is
Establish top 4 consistently
Build new stadium
Increase revenue streams
Improve squad with increased funds
Win the title

Basically Arsenal post 2006.

However, I suspect that the longer you go without a trophy or even a credible title challenge, the more players you will lose. Players have a short shelf life. They won't buy into the whole long term strategy.

Question then is, can you replace them with quality in order to mount a title challenge in the end of the plan?

From an outsider's view (united fan) you have a solid first 11 capable of fighting for the title and if you added just another 1 or 2 top players you could do a real push next season.

The big worry i would have if I was a spurs fan is will Kane, Erikson and your other WC players still be around in a few years when it comes for the title push? Id say you need to invest this summer whilst you have this squad.

Until the revenue into the club can sustain a higher wage bracket we’ll always under invest and look for market “bargains”

Once this age group gets into the early 30’s the club will have no choice or rely on youth to progress

The club has shown it's not far off a major title in the past few years, and if anything, has moved a little closer this season. I don't think we need to spend like Liverpool spent, as they had more issues with their team when they spent. Just one or 2 more players could seal the deal in getting a major trophy as opposed to missing out.

If we're that close now, then we should focus on it now, not in a few years time.

Can’t invest unless the revenue vs wages structure is correct.

Think we run at just under 60%

But that’s the current dilemma we are in Spurtle
Those 2 or 3 players we need would need to be significantly better than what we have. People like Rabiot were mentioned. They will be expensive and demand top wages. Until revenue is increased levy won’t do it
Catch 22

I do think we could spend big and get someone quality that pushes us to that, but that Levy simply isn't prepared to do that, because of his stance on the stadium and transfers in general.

I know Zaha isn't favoured by some Spurs fans yet to have him in this squad, he could be the difference between a trophy and not. Unfortunately while I think we could get him if we were prepared to, we won't, and that lack of ambition may come back to hurt us.

I doubt Enic will ever deliver us a title, going by the rate at which they have delivered a stadium (over 10 years and still counting), we will all be drawing our pensions by the time the stadium is paid off and revenues increase to a level suitable for making a serious challenge.

I am in no doubt that the only way is for Enic to sell up to somebody who will have a proper go. Enic are trying the organic route and making the final step is proving too difficult, why not do a Chelsea or £ity and buy some success, I`m sick and tired of being the bridesmaids.

Who wants another 5 - 10 years of 1 step forward, 2 steps back, 2 steps forward, 1 step back etc
