It must be because Kronke have said I am not allowing you to buy players I'm not here for that.

Sven Mislintat is a scout. So what has the money issue got to do with him?

Some scouts earn bonuses or commissions on signings.

Doubt we’d want someone who buys a Greek builder in defence

Aha. Wouldn't that be open to corruption? Say my friend was a german super agent, oh I dunno lets call him Lichtsteiner and I got a kick back if only his clients were signed by Arsenal. So I have incentive to omit prospects if they didn't say play for Lichtsteiner?

Apparently something to do with broken down relationship with the other guys in he new and recommendations for players which owed up:

How about Bayern liked what he did at Dortmund and decided to double his pay. I bet that would break a lot of relationships.

Wtf man this is ridiculous if true

I have noticed Unai is not his usual self on the sidelines for the last month or so and I wonder if he is even happy here at the moment. His post match interview after West Ham sounded like he was begging the higher ups for signings

Wouldn't it be kind of disheartening if you were scoutin' about and found all these awesome players and the club said "Yeah cheers mate nice work and all, but we're broke so we can't actually buy anyone"?

But yes it's more likely that Bayern will offer him lots and lots of money.

Looks like people are starting to flee. Did they not like the new MD's Arsenal roadmap??:

Do a Leicester.

Scouts are given a criteria and told to find someone to fit as close as possible. He could be told by the manager and Dof want someone between £5m-£10m or £50m-£60m. His job remains the same in either case.

In my opinion the rest is hogwash to get out of his contract for the obvious reason that Bayern may have come calling.

Whatever the reason for him leaving, the point is it's yet another line the club have sold the fans that has ultimately not materialised.

This is the guy that was meant to rejuvenate our p/ss poor scouting dept.

Torreira, 'the Greek boy' and a whole load of bang average...

Thanks for that, Sven

Something gives me the feeling that's not how it works at Arsenal though. More likely he's given a remit to find someone for £x and then at some point later on word comes down from upstairs that actually we've had a change of strategy and we're spending £y, when y = "f*ck all". Pure speculation of course but it sounds about right.

And how does the affect him. He is getting paid to do a job. If the remit changes its not his fault is it? He can't be blamed?

Sven Mislintat is remembered for finding players on the cheap like Dembele, Aubameyang etc, and selling them for £100m. Whats the use of a scout for finding someone who costs £30m and the whole world already knows who he is? So wtf has a budget got to do with his job? He is not the manager or director of football!

Best way forward now is to replace him with Wenger

According to Honigstein who has good contacts to Bayern Munich there isnt an offer from them behind Sven going.

Over exaggeration from everyone really, we'll be fine in the Summer when we offload few average players that aren't needed and we can then spend money on better players, hopefully got some young players coming through, i.e. Smith-Rowe, Willock, Nelson should return back to us next season, just need to try and somehow finish this season off as strong as possible, somehow fluking top 4 finish and win either the Europa league or FA cup or both!
