Character is an over used word when talking about footballers but to come back from 2 down after being denied a perfectly good goal shows real character. Rest day tomorrow and light training Friday and then we hopefully will be ready for Reading.
Hopefully this can push Spygate off the agenda and we move forward.
Wouldn't it be great to smash Reading 4, 5 or 6-0 on Satdee?
I hope youv'e taken some Tramadol 666?

Lawrence needs to work on his heading a bit.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And his tracking back. Did you notice how well Bennett went back and helped Bogle, he made several good tackles and worked hard. Tommy boy was strolling back when they had two dangerous attacks, he must help his left back when he is on that side.
I’ve thought that Bogle, who was excellent tonight, dropped off his game after Bennett was injured. I hope he stays fit.
Tonight was fantastic, what a difference from the Leeds game. Well done Derby County, bring on the Stanley.
Anyone have to look away when the final penalty was awarded to Keogh. I had to leave the room but captain Fantastic showed, yes you guess the word, character.
Scored a cracker against ManU as well

Can we then smash the league and the FA Cup too for a laugh. Like trying to create good habits and be positive and healthy and all that?

Absolutely spot on VC. Who played badly? No-one, though TL was a bit of a wayward , though still a handful for Soton. Huddlestone was brilliant. It just shows, all he needs is the motivation that a big game and a tv audience brings. MOTM was Tomori. Mount was better and Wilson is just Wilson - how does he squeeze these free kicks past the goalie? Bogle improved no-end once Bennett came on. He appreciates the help he gets. I think and he doesn't always get such help. Keogh had a very influential part in the game and the crucial penalty at the end was put away with great aplomb. Bryson put in a very good shift. They didn't at all like Waghorn's strength and bustle and his header was sublime. Marriott I thought looked a bit less than himself though he did well generally. Malone had a better game, Maybe he's fully fit again. Frank got the team selection and the tactics right. The Leeds defeat has been expunged.
A really good performance that showed huge character from the lads. We need to take such form into our leGUE GAMES.

We deserved that and the FA can stick the VAR right up
That VAR decision for Bryson's goal was pure nonsense That is not what VAR is for and in anywise there was a Soton leg making him onside.
View - Actually we won 5-3 on pens ... Soton never took their 5th.
VAR is rubbish, okay for set piece games like cricket but football is a flowing game, doesn't need these delays. Perfectly good goal disallowed because of idiots. That isn't what we pay for when we go to matches.
It’s awful. It never occurred to me that our goal would be disallowed, and for their second I relaxed safe in the knowledge it would be overturned. It robs the viewer, especially the viewer at the match, of the excitement of the moment.
Good clip of Keogh's winning penalty last night...

How dare Strett make comments about Keogh or any central defender when Forest play Heffalump, the worst footballer on the planet.
In my comments after the game I forgot completely to mention Roos. He had a great game in goal and he should get more game time.
As for Strett's comments - a bit of envy creeping in for him. I think I'm right that Forest are out of the cup and concentrating on the league now.
Yes, I thought Roos looked like a proper goalie. Confident in the air, didn’t look out of his depth at all. Difficult to know what is best for him, whether to go out on loan or not. Goalie is a position you can’t really rotate.
