I mean the history banter is sad enough when it’s from the scousers or the filthies....

They've gta try harder to drum up rivalry cause no1 even gives a sheite about them, even Utd fans want them to win the league over Liverpool. They weren't even the first lottery club ffs, Chelsea got all that attention.

Spurs and Liverpool have rivalry because neither have won the Premier League.

When you're Centurions you don't have rivals, just jealous detractors.

What an odd comment. United fans have had to get used to us winning the league, there are grown men who have never lived to see Liverpool as champions on the other hand.

He could end up like Alan Shearer at Newcastle.

Shearer won the league with Blackburn so it’s not like he went his entire career potless

I think it's great that the whole of Manchester are behind City.

Yeah that’s why I said he’d be like Shearer at Newcastle.

Definitely preferable to our biggest and most hated rivals winning it that's for sure.

City winning their 6th or the dippers winning their 19th is simply an easy choice for us. In an ideal world you'd both fail to win it but this season no team is equipped to do that.

I not really that bothered about trophies that were won before Churchill was born but winning cups is fun.

Can't believe you've done them the dis-service of not including the Net-Spend Cup, the most modest of silver chalices but a fine achievement nonetheless. How dare thee...

Saying that even Net-Spend Cup winners win real trophies. Martinez better manager than Poch?

Really don't see Kane as a Pep type player. Aguero is smaller, lower centre of gravity and rapid acceleration. Kane's strengths are different and he is better with the ball in front of him and clearly more of an aerial threat whereas Kun will turn to beat an opponent more often than Kane. Both great strikers but not similar players. Kane is more suited to United I feel and would score a hatful there sadly. At City the goals are shared around more, at Spurs he is the attacking threat and would be the focus at United. City score so many because there are threats all over the front 6.

This sort of reminds me of 2014 wanting Chelsea to win it but they bottled it so next best bet was Man City winning it.

Can't imagine it will be hard to get a ticket.

Do I get a giant inflatable banana with my ticket and a pint of Boddingtons?

You get entertainment and goals Eric. My worry is that Chelsea get through, much harder to beat them in a cup competition.

Give it a rest. Better than a club who have a tax dodging owner who spends more on fuel for his yacht than his team. Go and moan at him about the lack of success. Always known as also rans, if known at all.

But I don't see Kane as an ideal back up to Aguero, he needs the team to play a different, and demonstrably less successful type of football so he can score goals. At City it is about the team winning, not meaningless personal trophies.
