Wolves v Leicester Match Preview [LIVE]

Traore has barely started out on the right though. He keeps being made to play through the middle, which he is obviously not suited to.

It would be good to see him given a run of games as a wide forward.

I think Dendoncker looks more steady in defence than Saiss. I can't envisage us needing an enforcer type in midfield for this game so Saiss is on the bench for me.

Of our remaining 16 games only 4 are against the top 6, Man U & Arsenal at home and Chesea & Liverpool away. So our destiny is firmly our hands.

To look at it another way though, we've got probably 8 games against teams that will try to stop us playing and nick goals on the counter. Going to be tough, we need early goals to open teams up and make them come at us, especially at home.

Puel’s preferred formation:
4-2-3-1

Puel’s actual formation:
9-0—————————————1

Imagine we’ll set up 4-3-3 in the game. Very defensive and deep and try to bore Wolves in to losing 0-1.

Disappointed that you didn’t use the term ‘Wolves return to Molineux to lick their wounds’ but non the less, another decent preview thread

I deliberately left that out so that you could use it when you are carefully crafting the match thread

Hopefully it's just paper talk

Why hopefully? Who do you have your eye on who's better?

Has Puel had the bullet then?

Not sure it makes a huge difference when it comes to Dendoncker or Saiss really as i think both can do a good job in either role.

Even when we have set up 3-4-3 we have struggled first half and i think we would be better starting with Cavaleiro than either of Traore or Costa when space is limited as he is far better with the ball in those circumstances, the other two need open space ahead of them to be a threat.

Traore can sometimes make a difference when coming on as a sub and Nuno usually takes off the forwards before his midfield/defenders, when using his substitutions.

Comments?

Quite underwhelming

Some of those have fallen off a cliff the last two years after looking very very promising.

Graham and Ronan the most disappointing though i struggle to see what Traore can do that Eno can't other than run faster.

He can’t bench press 250KG like myself and Traore can
