think the starting XI isnt terrible and could hold on for a top 4 place. especially as its only for a month or 2. could certainly see us out of all comps though but who knows. problem is obviously our bench and running players into the ground

Yes, but let's be honest, a fair few spurs fans on here, when things were going particularly well, did talk as though no signings were needed after all.

I have been proved right so far, still 3rd in the league, and still in every cup competition going, despite not spending a penny. Probably just about the only Spurs fan thus far that did say Spurs would have a decent season, even if they made no signings at the start of the season.

The time to judge though will be at the end of the season. I never quite get why supporters are judging the season is coming to an end in January.

Most people suspected that a thin squad of good players would mean a decent season that tailed off towards the end as injuries and fatigue kicked in.

As you say, the time to judge is at the end of the season. Top 4 isn't guaranteed.

I assume he's saying Liverpool get the luck at both ends. You can't really criticise the guy, he's a broken record but he's completely consistent
