It was in a quite expensive New York hotel to be fair

Expensive! There was a cant at the front door tried to tap me for the price of his limousine up the road.
Think that afternoon was about $750.
Then there was dinner where that fat cwnt sank most of my expensive wine from that soup bowl chained around his neck!
That upset me more than anything.
Apart from being refused a drink in MSQ because I had no ID.
“But I’ve got receding grey hair”
“So have I sir”

That’s not what you were saying though.
You said people should expect a national referendum to be overturned because politicians lie or they were gullible.
Now you’re saying politicians lie.
And combining the two you’re trying (and failing) to make a case that sensible people (not gullible) should expect this Brexit vote to be overturned.

I also got asked for ID in Walmart Florida a few years ago at the sprightly age of 49 I referred the cashier to the sign that said "Do I look over 25" and asked her if she really thought that I looked under 21 ffs...
