Lampard has been made to look very silly in all this, I would imagine he hopes this disappear quicker than Bielsa does to be fair

Not as bad as Sir Alex tapping up players left right and centre and his players getting in the faces of referees and let's not forget fergie time.

fooking hypocrite

Lampard has come out this episode very badly, absolutely no need for lying.

He's a celebrity manager. A total amateur manager who Derby will fire at the end of the season. They can and should do better than hire that clueless numpty, especially given the talented squad they have.!

Can you, peak white, post proof of SAF spying? Can you also post Hippo condoning it?

As it stands, Hippo isn't being a hypocrite over this (I can't say for sure as I have no idea if he has condoned in in one instant and condemned it here).

If I found Bielsa in bed with my wife I'd have to seriously question why I don't remember getting married.

On the subject of Hippo being a hypocrite, that's in the context of him accusing Leeds of cheating yet, as pointed out by Macca, ManU also cheat in different ways themselves. Spying isn't cheating or illegal anyway. It might be unsporting and some are better at it than others, but it's widespread in sport in general eg AVB for Mourinho at Chelsea, F1 etc.

I've seen Hippo talking about his fairly regularly and my conclusion has been that they are not to be taken seriously.

What are you exactly referring to as being common knowledge? Spying on opposition or SAF used a helicopter to spy on City? The former may be the latter I doubt it to be.

Two of Macca's point are pretty useless (getting in the ref's face when it was being done, rules came in to stamp it out, and Fergie time is a myth as stats proved since Liverpool had got more added minutes, and penalties, in the PL).

On Hippo, has he condone cheating by United? He only becomes a hypocrite if he condones it in the instance of United and condemns in when others, such as Leeds, do it.

I read that, Peakwhite. It's not really conclusive regarding cheating (regarding SAF). In fact, two others are based on nothing but one man's paranoia and another guy not getting along with the person he accuses of cheating.

Poor article to use as proof.

The one's condemning Bielsa are mostly saying he has acted immorally and not in the spirit of the game. Martin Keone one of Bielsa's critics I remember famously against Man Utd was pretty thug like towards Van Nistelroy and most of his career like many others criticising Bielsa used gamesmanship to their advantage which is definitely not in the spirit of the game.

"In 2009, The Mirror reported that Sir Alex Ferguson’s helicopter had been spotted flying over Manchester City’s training ground ahead of a Manchester derby.

The story suggested “City officials wondered if they were the victims of a spying mission, with their arch-rivals wanting to know any last-minute secrets”."

That's the quote from the article you linked. Nothing about it flying around twice as you mentioned. Hence a poor article to link to as proof.

Yeah Macca, that very intimidating action by Keone on van Nistelroy was what I thought immediately after Keone
spoke...not that he did anything criminal, a bit like Bielsa...all a storm in a FA cup!
