Sorry for your loss mate, stay strong
Terribly sorry to hear about your loss. I personally lost my father suddenly when I was 21 and the pain was unimaginable. I hope you have a good family network to support you through this
Sorry for your loss OP
Interestingly did you / your dad live in Enfield? May I ask roughly where?

ah ok
Not too far from me. I have a friend who lives on Bury Street West
Sorry for your loss mate.
Know how you feel, my dad made just 66, died 11 years ago and I still miss him.
I'm starting to realise that this forum is a real community for some, so no, I don't think this is self indulgent whatsoever.
Sorry for your loss and hope that you have people around you to help with this difficult time. Don't be afraid to talk about it.
All the best.

You just have to look at the Leeds board from the last few weeks. They lost one of their own and have all come together to raise money. Some of the comments were heart touching.
Didn’t one of the posters on the Leicester board die last year or in 2017?
I can’t remember his name, Blackstarr posted about it at the time I think
mate, sorry to hear that. I know how it feels to lose a parent. Your dad sounds like a legend. Best wishes to you and your family

It has started to make me think, I must admit.

Sorry for your loss Pal
Yeh, speaking about people coming together, I think the old poster on here “Squids” passed away to didn’t he ?
Sorry for your loss Hod
Don.......................Squid did indeed pass away about a while back. He was the only one I have met from off here
Genius , wow I do remember that mate. I think Granspur also knew him personally ?
Sorry for you loss.
It's also not self-indulgent at all. It's nice to share things sometimes. I'm all for having some banter on here but some things are bigger than football.
Yes Grandspur was a friend of his.
Squid had quite a few medical issues and he was losing his sight. He had a big 60" television and had to be only about 3 feet away to see anything.
