Promotion, I'm the same... totally different level here but I coach a junior Rugby league team, I found out from my mate at the gym who coaches the adults at my bitter rivals club that they take there's to boxing club through the off season.. I thought to myself "what a great idea", where as when I made it known at my club what they do, it was seen as taboo.

Sick of the point scoring too. Often ruins decent conversations. Also it's ok for some disagree with me. Doesn't me the person doesn't like me. it's just another point of view. I think some people forget that on here.

the irony of it all is that Bielsa tells every opponent his starting 11 2 days before the match. They don't need to come and watch us train because he has already given them the information.

I wonder if he does this partly because he ahd assumed someone would be watching anyway?

I don’t think it’s even a story, however I am a win at all costs kinda person.
In South America just about anything goes, it’s part of their culture to do anything to win and is part of the game.
A completely different mentality.

Notice Gerrard now putting his 10pence worth in. Funny how the younguns / millennials are all up in arms about it & the older experienced intelligent lads are not bothered at all.

Bit like Brexit really

Martin Keown giving it big only for multiple other Arsenal players of the same generation to come out and say that Wenger used to watch Watford training.

We should put Bielsa in charge of Brexit.... he'd sort it... mind you, he'd send his people to the European countries to spy in their meetings

yep its noticable that either low-rate managers or cra8p players trying to get a pundit career are all up in arms about it.

but the best and the elite of managers have all said its not a big deal in the slightest.

I liked the reaction of Karl Henry also. He's someone I've never had much time for, and afaik doesn't particularly like Leeds, but he's come out and defended us.

Plenty of current and expected footballers coming out in support of Bielsa and the club. Feel like they are getting ignored a bit because people want to focus on those slagging us off.

Mr Gerrard who was a serial diver and headbutted a bouncer over a jukebox song talking to us about integrity and respect?

Couldn't make it up

An old saying comes to mind and never more appropriate when thinking about these 'expert' pundits.

Opinions are like a--eholes. Everyone has one.

I actually think with likes of Keith Andrews and Darren Bent after the game last Friday, they said what they said as they thought it would be the popular thing to say, rather than what they actually thought... Gerrard the same, too knew in his job to feel he has the freedom to say something that might upset somebody!

I think that's what's annoyed me the most to be honest. Keith Andrews and Darren Bent for godsake. Lord give me strength

The views of every random manager are irrelevant, who cares what Gerrard or Hughton or Potter thinks? football will move onto something else in a couple of days, Sky are just trying to keep to controversy going.

Bielsa has laid his cards out, not lied and reasoned and explained his argument well. Up to EFL now, I expect a fine, a warning and then a rule change. This will blow over after tomorrow.

Darren bent is just jealous that no one ever had to pay on training sessions involving him.

After all you don't really need see his secrets to know he will stand in the box and try to tap it in every single week

What I dont understand is the uproar about this case as it has been happening for year. People have been found out over the year. But only this time its a massive issue.

Why is everyone jumping on this one? Dont get it.

Because Leeds it is!

If they’re not Leeds, they tend to hate Leeds.

Just the way it is.

Go figure...

You must understand that football is a game where everyone involved is as pure as the driven snow.

No manager has ever made an illegal approach for a player or attempted to intimidate a referee. No player has ever tried to injure another player or commit a cynical foul to prevent a goal. Nobody has ever dived for a penalty or rolled in fake agony to get a fellow professional sent off. No players have ever been involved in a late night brawl, drug taking, sexual assault or illegal betting. Football administrators have never taken a bribe to award a world cup.

But watching the opposition train? That is almost as bad as murder.

Many just can’t handle our success, not ow, not in the 60s, 70s, 80s 90s, or 2000s.

Simples.

I disagree with this. It is a perfectly valid discussion to be had on the issue, and managers should be able to offer their opinions and insights into the matter, as it is an issue that is relevant to them.

Former players like Bent and Andrews aren't effected by the issue so should learn to not talk about it. That's the issue for me.

Fair point Lubo, but a week after the incident and Sky are still pumping every manager for an opinion and featuring it as a headline story. It has gone well beyond what is reasonable for such a trivial matter.

True, many genuine fans have expressed their interest in seeing Leeds back in the Prem.

Because the ore match press conferences have been the first time that they've had the opportunity to ask most of these managers the question.

...and they need to ask every manager?

and repeat the answers every half hour?

I've changed channels!
