Baz, it’s a great documentary, but more importantly it focuses on Spurs in that episode

Tbf you may be turning a corner. First leg we could have easily walked away 2/3-1 up. But u ground out the victory.

I'll probs just watch that episode tbh. Is it on Prime Don or Netflix?

Unfortunately we have no one left to play you at Stamford Bridge Nick.

Dorris the tea lady will be our new DM and Gary the boot cleaner is upfront. I don't hold out much hope.

Lol still got a very good team mate. And without a striker our issue will still be scoring a goal.

Haha very true.

Any news on Higuian? Would rather you don't sign him before our game.

Neither side has a striker at the moment Nick but drab a 0-0 will do me

posted on 18/1/19

Palmers I'll take that mate

posted on 18/1/19

Apparently trying to get him registered by 12 today but all gone quiet. If he frees up hazard alone it will be worth signing. Before girouds injury and early on the season just having a half capable striker was freeing up hazard. So we will see, not convinced it will pay off yet but cantbe worse than morata

Would happily take a drab 0-0. All we need to do is draw. Chelsea have to win.

Yeah that makes sense.

You think you can beat Arsenal this weekend mate? Not sure who I want to win.

posted on 18/1/19

If we play at our best I think we can beat anyone. I think our best is 3rd best in the league. It’s just we rarely show that. With hazard Kante azpi and a few other good players (rudiger, Kepa) all we need really is a great game from a luiz, Willian or someone and we’re world beaters. It’s just those days are few and far between so we rely on hazard and Kante to bail us out time and time again. Look at the city game for example.

Tomorrow I’m not sure, mixed bag for me, Arsenal should be there for the taking but they have some very strong firepower

posted on 18/1/19

If I was you I would want an arsenal win, I feel we are stronger than them, especially if higuain does prove everyone wrong

posted on 18/1/19

Nick , no I don’t agree mate. I think us at our best are a better side than you. We have beaten you in our last 3 games mate to prove it. I still think we’re the 3rd best side in the league, but these injuries do worry me.

CFC have the 3rd best squad, but THFC first 11(when fit) is slightly better than CFC at the moment. But all CFC need is a decent striker and another good player, keep Hazard and they will be better than Spurs imo.

Can say exactly same thing with Spurs mate. All we need is 1 or 2 good additions to our squad and our squads better than Chelsea. Man for Man we are a better side than Chelsea, only slightly but we are a better side.

The main difference is that CFC will spend what is required on the '1 or 2 players to help them push on'. I'm not sure Spurs will, which keeps you on that, nearly but quite not there status.

posted on 18/1/19

Well I would hope that the Spurs board strengthen this window, be absolute criminal not to. A few quality additions and this Spurs side will be up there challenging the league no doubt next season. It’s just wether the club can match the ambition they portray.

posted on 18/1/19

Exactly Don, it's now or never for you guys because this is the best team you've had for decades and if Levy doesn't capitalise on it now, by helping your team to progress, i hate to say it but, you'll end up like us in a few years.

Don’t disagree with that mate, but the main argument was at it stands were a better side than Chelsea. It’s all hindsight talking about “if they get this person” etc because it hasn’t happened yet. I think we will be ok for top 4 this season. We do need to strengthen in Jan though no doubt

True, currently THFC has a better team than CFC, and i can't see you lot dropping out the top 4 either, unless something major happens.
