meanwhile Puel telling the players to calm it down, what a plonker.

It’s the first time we’ve ever had a performance like that under Puel - but it was no different to his usual shambles in many ways. Starting every game badly, 2-0 down before we get going.

How’s your title challenge going?

Questions.

Why did Puel start with Morgan AGAIN?! Evans was fit and showed he’s far far better.

Why did we start so badly AGAIN??!

Why have we still after a year not developed a decent centre half partnership

Why did he wait until the 75th minute to bring Maddison on.

MANAGER BLUFF

MANAGER MOTIVATION

MANAGER DEVELOPMENT

Why did he wait until the 75th minute to bring Maddison on.

MANAGER'S DECISION

Another one.
Why do we play away with a home team approach and at home with an away team approach?

Puel continues to struggle to balance defence and attack in his system.

Either play a deeper back 4 and counter or consider changing the formation.

His 4-2-3-1 leaves us utterly exposed or utterly toothless.

He was the same at Southampton, dreadful at home but they picked up wins on the road.

how about that really our defence isn't good enough and Puel knows it

Puel looked like he knows the game’s now up. He deserves some credit for getting us playing in the 2nd half but the 1st was unforgivable and has been characteristic of our play under him all season.

Agree with others saying Evans should be playing - he bailed out Morgan at least half a dozen times in that 2nd half. Will give Harry the benefit of the doubt seeing as he was soldiering on injured.

We’ve now got an 11 day break so if the owners are going to make a change before the end of the season this would be the best time to do it.

So why have a backwards approach? Defensive at home and open away?

So why not play with 3 DMs which has proven to be effective?

Haha, It's HIS defence, HIS Team, HIS tactics.

We were caught out be Gray tippy tapping and losing the ball, then Simpson had a hamlet moment, Ricardo and Maguire both got beat too easy for the second, after that we chasing the game defending to high and Morgan got done.
We gave the ball away too much, still not direct enough in final third, bad decisions again especially from Gray and Chilwell, Wolves played the counter very well although we did help be giving then the freedom of our half for an hour. On a plus, we didn't go backwards anywhere near as much as we normally do.

I preferred the more attacking formation against a vulnerable wolves team but my I wasn’t expecting such a woeful defensive display.

One big concern is the absolute gap between our defence and front 4. Mendy and Ndidi defend so deep there is always the space and opportunity to shoot from 30 yards. Game after game we see this.
