Thank you Ramdini. And a most entertaining match thread as well. Onwards and upwards we go

Thought Holmes had a better game than Waghorn. At least Waghorn is now contributing but I wish he'd learned the offside rule before taking up football as a career.

Roos is definitely better at distribution than Carson. Carson may have a fight to get the gloves back.

Anyone think Nugent should have been introduced earlier?

Usually is Heb, generally on 70 minutes. We won so can't argue with manager.

Ramdini, your team sheet is wrong, carson wasn't even on the bench, otherwise good effort.

I thought we were very late with the subs, they had made all three long before our first and by then we were struggling to get any possession. Marriott wasn’t holding the ball up or running the channels and Nugent might have got us up the field a bit. I thought both wide men did well but were struggling to help their full backs towards the end. Bennett could have helped with that a bit sooner. As usual the result makes the manager a genius or a fool.

I thought the first 20 mins was as good as ive seen us in a long time. That was a tough game to play after Wednesday. We could have been out of sight by 30 mins with just a tad more composure but no complaints from me. Deserved win.

Thought I heard some chants of “Bald Eagle’s Barmy Army” today, that explains it. I hope he recovers or, if he can’t, that he’s peaceful.

The Jekell and Hyde of performances or should we give credit to Reading for re-grouping, rationalising and being sensible?

Good account Ramdini - incidentally where do you sit as sometimes/often there is literally a different perspective from different parts of the ground. For instance it must be so quiet in the South Stand.

I thought Reading played quite a lot of decent football. Swift (was it?) in midfield for them was good. They look in a false position although they lacked anyone who looked like he might score which perhaps is the reason they are where they are.

Hi ViewFrom. I have great view, central in the North Stand. There is an idiot in front who insists on standing to block the view from time to time but I am pleased with it mostly. You are right, perspective alters things sometimes. I think somethings are more obscure whilst others are clearer.

Good point Vidal. I did try to indicate they are unlikely to be relegated. They have some talented individuals.
I thought Gomes was quite negative in his summing up showing that he almost expected to lose this one.

It is not you View He is thoroughly unpleasant. He threatened to punch one old fellow who used ti=o sit behind him just for asking him, very politely, to sit down please. This guy who has since moved was over 80.

As for me, I don't see how he can see any better by standing up.

He can't do anything without being caught. He has an allocated seat. He would be arrested, get a criminal record and be banned from the ground. Next time call the stewards or take a note of his seat and e mail the club.
