Sarri Needs Time

I agree. From what I’ve seen I don’t necessarily like his style of play aesthetically or his rotation policy BUT it is worth sticking with as a) like you said it is what Sarri is about..we knew this before he came and b) I think he achieved incredible stuff at Napoli and so should be given the right chance to build something similar here.

Give him a summer and just get good players in. His rotation policy is annoying but hey, we knew that before he came. Replace the underperforming first XI players with better quality options that Sarri can play to exhaustion if he wishes, not Alonso and Willian.

And although this season I have been disappointed (I think more than others even earlier in the season) in performance, results wise we’re about where we should be with this squad, imo.

Totally agree with you JTHT. To get rid of him after just six months would be up there with Palar$e sacking De Boer after 4 games.

Made mistakes no doubt and I don't think we need to labour the points as they've been covered elsewhere.

Sarri was parachuted in at the last minute because the clowns couldn’t even manage to sack someone properly and spent the whole summer posturing over who’d be the new manager, while the Conte saga dragged on.

By the time he’s been appointed he’d had virtually no time to bring in players of his own apart from Jorginho, we then bring in panic signings like Kov on loan.

Our problems are at the top of the management tree as far as I'm concerned!

I'm fed up with Sarri giving a similar display yesterday to the one at Tottenham in November. What did he and Jorginho think was going to happen yesterday? Knowledgeable fans could see that Jorg would be closed down quickly. I'd like Sarri to explain the attacking game plan cos whenever we got in to wide positions there was no one to aim for so the ball went back. Arsenal surrendered the wings cos they new we had no height or strength to cause damage with this line up. They also knew we could be a danger with intricate passing centrally from the edge of the area so they packed that part of the pitch. This would've been worked on all week by Arsenal on the training ground so it's a massive blunder by Sarri and I really don't understand how he was planning on scoring. So similar to Tottenham and it shows he's learned nothing.

Sarri getting critisism is completely justified.

Jorginho, I don't need to say anymore.

Kante out of position
Hazard out of position
Giroud on the bench
Persisting with Morata- however at least he's realised he's shlt aswel, it's just annoying it's taken him 5 months..

But Sarri needs to adapt, we won't beat spurs and that will put ALOT of pressure on him. Especially when he plays his Love child Jorginho AGAIN

Morata is not the problem and was never. Playing Alonso and Willian consistently when they have been usueless is the bigger problem.

Agreed. Thing is, how long have we all been saying that on this board? The PL titles in 2015 and 2017 powered over the fact that we are very poorly run.

Morata isnt the main problem with this team though. Yes he wasn't good enough in his 18 months here hence his imminent departure but I reckon we would struggle with any striker in the world right now.

questionable....depends on the striker

Sorry NPE, pressed delete instead of reply.

I think poorly structured is a very fair point. I was listening to a podcast the other day where a journalist was saying that other clubs have said to him that they don’t know who to contact when dealing with is at the moment, since Emenalo left it’s unclear who is in charge of the football side of things.

It appears to be Maria Granovskaia but what football experience does she actually have. United get criticised for Woodward making football decisions with a business background but really the same could be same for us.

Exactly this. We HAVE to win and if we don't then I'm sorry but Sarri will lose my backing, nothing against him, but it'll mean to me that the players aren't with him anymore which is actually quite sad and confirms that we have some right ****** in that team.

And Morata is a problem, bizarre how you can't admit that, even if you just watch MOTD you'd realise he's been rubbish for months.. maybe even a year
