Best midfielder in the league and our only true LB out for pretty much the whole season up to now shows City haven't done too bad. Other injuries such as Merlin and Sergio for a few weeks are the same as most teams have.

It would be unusual for Sandy to come up with a thread pointing out some completely unimportant statistic that ultimately will have no effect on the outcome of the PL.

They are Harry Kane's team, no more, no less. Half their goals from 2 players ffs. That really is worth a thread.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah, make a thread about something that isnt true. Go for it
---------------------------------------------------------------

22/48, not quite half but not far off is it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

SO its 3 players who have scored half Spurs goals this season, a bit like...

Liverpool
Arsenal
Man Utd
Chelsea

Im sure it would still make a really good thread though

Wow. A defender and a midfielder injured. Tragic. Pray for City's injured

1 loss all season, and 6 in our last 65 games.
Let's keep stumbling.😀

You got beat by Palace at home, and a poor Leicester City team.
No excuses.😉

City have been without key players for most of the season but we're still plodding on.

helps when you have a +£1bn squad and can afford to have a bench full of £50m players
----------------------------------------------------------------------
A plus one billion £ squad you say.

Do we have a cheese room?

A break down of this billion pound squad please.

The same site which claimed City have a £1bn squad (ESPN) values Spurs at over £700m.

...and you're still bleating.

When I went to school 24 was half of 48, so 22 is not exactly miles away from that is it? I suppose if you only score a few then it is easy to have a big proportion.

Any money they thought they had has been wiped out by constant delays on the stadium fiasco.

I love the fact that some Spurs fans wear the 'no money spent' badge like it means something. Having an owner who hides his money offshore instead of investing in the team or the area they have their ground in is something to be ashamed of, not take pride in. The fact that he spends his money on fuel for his yacht while they struggle to beat mighty Fulham just makes it worse. No trophies for that.

Now when i went to school, half of 48 was 24. I remember in my math tests, our teacher was quite strict. If i had put 22 down to answer what is half of 48, she would have marked WRONG not correct because its not a million miles away.

I went to a good school though! You clearly didnt

They still have to play the best away team in the division Spurs, who should have won at Anfield last year. May go one better this year if they can get all their injured players back.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Thought you were going to win the league and had a v strong squad so you didn’t need to buy players
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Sandy just bought into the THFC bullshyt.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yep brainwashed by Levy and Pochettino
----------------------------------------------------------------------

pretty unprecedented injury list. Not sure CFC could cope without Hazard, let along half a dozen other key players.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
WTF is this 'pretty unprecedented injury list' you and andy-pandy keep going on about?

You have fewer injuries than West Ham, Liverpool or Newcastle and the same as Watford according to Physioroom. http://bit.ly/2CyK3Kv

Stop whinging about injuries, you have 'a better squad than Liverpool' or so we're led to believe by most of the Spurs board so a couple of injuries shouldn't be a problem for you.

Man City are actually very clever in the way they spend the money these days. Man Utd could learn a lesson from them but we got Ed Woodward scattergun approach.

We actual done well on recent signings except Fred and overpaid for Lukaku and Matic.

We overpaid for Sanchez wages as well. We got rid of Evra quite cheap.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Your exact quote is at the top on this. For ease i copy and paste it below. Word for word:

"Half their goals from 2 players ffs. That really is worth a thread."

So...

(1), you are wrong. 100% wrong. Not "not a million miles away from being right", just plain and simple, black and white, cut and dried, thick as shiiit, seemingly can't read or write too well, wrong! and;

(2) Math is an abbreviation of Mathematics. While the US prefer to use Math, Maths is more commonly used in other English speaking countries, but neither abbreviation is correct or incorrect.

So the last refuge of the desperate (grammar police), also a big fail.

Back to school simpleton!

another one who cannot do simple mathematics!

and for Chr!sts sake Hoody, you love an argument about such details, whether written or numerical

FYI the difference between 24/48 (50%) and 22/48(45.8333%) is 4.1666% But it still stands that Son & Kane have not scored half our goals, which was the statement made, and considered to be worthy of its own thread by the fool who made the claim.
