Our lead over Chelsea is far from comfortable. I just don’t know where the goals are going to come from.

I mean in the race for top4. We should be able to finish above at least 2 of United, Chelsea and Arsenal.

Horrible news, hopefully he is ok. Thinking of him, the pilot, all their friends and family and Nantes.

Ah I see. Well we can only hope.

Losing to Chelsea and Palace, followed by an announcement the stadium will not be ready this season and zero signings in the window, will be just about as Spursy as it can get.

And the sad thing is, all the above could quite easily happen.

Just got to keep the faith. The fact so many are writing this team off may help give the players playing more impetus to prove people wrong.

As long as we get no other injuries I'm fairly content with that XI as our strongest to try their best to survive the next weeks

Where's Wanyama in all this team planning?

The injuries are unlucky but I’m not having this Asia cup bollox. Typical spurs luck that it happens to fall right in the middle of an injury crisis / season defining fixtures. Couldn’t make it up. Is he the only player in the whole league at that tournament? Only good one anyway. It’s an absolute nonsense. He already did the world cup and Asia games this third one takes the pissssss

Just on this , awful news and sad situation, but I can never understand why people risk helicopters and these tiny planes. Is it me or is the ratio of crashes in these vehicles to the number of flights just awful, and must make it comfortably the most dangerous form of transport, possibly along with motorbikes.

Would never catch me going in a helicopter, far too many crashes. And if a helicopter or a small plane crashes you are absolutely finished. No chance at all.

Nobody should be getting on one.

Sad situation.

Wanyama in his debut season was effing amazing for us. When we beat Chelsea 2-0 at Christmas time he was the best player on the park. Had a few injuries but hopefully he can get back to his best. That physicality may give us the edge we need to qualify for top 4.

Feel we need some proper investment this summer.

So as some of your fans say about Chelsea, throwing money at a problem?

Probably a lot, and a lot, safer then getting in a car.

Comparisons
In absolute numbers, driving is more dangerous, with more than 5 million accidents compared to 20 accidents in flying. A more direct comparison per 100 million miles pits driving's 1.27 fatalities and 80 injuries against flying's lack of deaths and almost no injuries, which again shows air travel to be safer.

That’s air travel as a whole. I’m talking about helicopters and tiny planes. I fully accept that a big jumbo jet is probably the safest way to travel, and one I use at least 10 times a year most years
