Lukaku has always done well on the right, not your usual pacy winger but he does tend to find a lot of space out there.

He had loads of space because kolasinic played pretty much as a winger. Two good assists though.

Sanchez I believe has a goal and 2 assists in his last 3 games and he hasn’t played a full match in any of them. Yes they both can be quality backups or at times starters. Still feel we need a quality pacey right winger

Sanchez can still take the place of Jesse on the right hand side, or as the false 9, if he works for it. He has the work rate to do it and has the skills to attack. I love Jesse, but it’s only his position which is potentially up for grabs IMO.

If he’s happy to be a squad player then he doesn’t need to go. 75m is a lot for a squad player though and if we can get 50m plus then yes a move away wouldn’t be the worst thing.

Surprised no one is talking about Ole's subs yesterday. If that was Mourinho, he would've brought on Fellaini and one defender for us to hold out

If we can get £40m for Lukaku and put it into a new player we can do much better imo. He just doesn't suit our current style.

Yeah, arsenal were there for the taking on the counter and the subs were at the right time.

Only wish we got rid of Jose sooner.

"Everything happens for a reason" is an old saying and for me, if it didn't get that dismal, Ole wouldn't have been selected as our boss. Under any good circumstances, I'm afraid he'd be overlooked. Feels great right now, doesn't it?

Mata is a top freekick taker. He finally has a manager that will suit his style of play.

Lukaku doesn't fit in with a fluid front 4 of Pogba martial rashford and Lingaard all of whom have quick feet and crisp passing. (Nor does Sanchez either in my opinion.)

I don't see why he is a good option to have in the squad. For £50-60m can find someone much better to fit in with the style of football OGS wants the team to play.

Don’t he really fits into to this style atall. Maybe he could play a central role but he’s not a better player than Pogba.

Mata cornerkicks can help win EL and CL like 2012 and 2013 for Chelsea. We don't have that many good freekick or cornerkick takers.

We need to keep Mata as he is very good technically.

Lukaku is still cack, and so is Fellaini. What is it with your obsession with oafs.

I was going to do a separate post about these two amongst others, but i'll post it on here.

'I want to talk about yesterday's game from a player management perspective. Specifically the attacking players of Lukaku, Sanchez, Rashford, Martial, Lingard and Pogba. I thought Ole handled this extremely well.

The idea to implement both misfits as starters in a game against classic FA Cup heavyweights was brave if not bold. Prior to the game, some fans were not happy with the sudden tweaks as it was against Arsenal in a competition that our opponents have thrived in in modern times, not to mention that on paper - their starting 11 was supposed to be a better all rounded attacking threat over ours and to put us down a peg - it was at the Emirates.

So as the game started, it was turning out to be one of those nights... Except it wasn't. Both Lukaku and Sanchez both stepped up to the plate in their own ways and provided that danger with assists and a goal. Sanchez wasn't 100% match fit so could only realistically provide around 60 - 70 minutes of play.

Lukaku played well as a team member but was then showing signs of misjudgement and composure from this moment onwards. So Ole replaced both around the 70th minute mark. It worked a treat, as both replacements with fresh legs provided that real danger up front.

Now with Pogba, he wasn't great in the first half but Ole persisted with him for the second. As the second half wore on, Pogba began to switch on. He put in a better second half performance overall, and this was enhanced with the introductions of his revived regular attacking duo of Martial and Rashford (and Lingard although he started - they work better with Tony and Rashford.)

Talking of Lingard, he scored a good goal. And i am personally becoming more immune to his ways of him being himself at the club. He maybe cringeworthy to some folk, but that's not the talking point in this post. He provided great threats against Arsenal all night. Covered a lot of distance and shows once again he can be at the right space, right time and score another crucial goal in a big game. Lost his way temperamentally late on in the game, and was rightly subbed to preserve his conduct.

Big shout outs also to Bailly and of course Romero!

Overall, a good squad management under the current set of players we have. Ole and his coaching staff - to you all!'

Rashford n Martial are well ahead in the pecking order for me. Not sure how long these two will put up with being squad players. Probably till summer then I can imagine some interest from other clubs might take one of them away, maybe both.

Probably find it easier to sell Lukaku due to the age of him and also because Sanchez is on so much money. Sanchez may have to ride out his contract here unless he's willing to earn half of what he is currently doing. Unlikely.

If Ole can keep them all happy... then i think we have a great selection of attackers, all of which are chipping in with goals and assists.
