Perisic will be great signing but he has no resale value seems like a stop gap since Ozil looks done with Emery he was awful again whatever happened to him is a mystery looks shattered of confidence surely we must offload and take loss.
Doesn't overwhelm me but it's a position we're desperate to fill. Perisic would give us a stronger chance in the Europa for sure.
Would be an absolute nonsense signing. Are we so cash rich that we can spunk £35Mil on a 29/30 year old who will be done after 2 season if he settles in the pl.
Haven't we got enough of these older players Ozil, PEA, Micky on stupid wages.

£35m for Arsenal is peanut especially if paid in instalments.
He will bring loads of experience instead of playing one dimensional Ramsey.
I seen him in the world cup and was very impressed.
He will bring something we lack in abundance, fighting spirit that only seen in Sokratis, Torreira and Guendouzi.
Can see him doing well for you if you get him. However who do you guys have left in defence? Even most of your first choice ones are poor.
Not the quickest but pretty physical. We need players that add a bit of bite

What about a replacement for Bellerin
There were zero overlapping runs made yesterday in that side with everything coming from Kolasinac side

"not the quickest"
He is still pretty quick though🤔
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He is quick but doesn't have that real blistering pace. What I do like is that he is a very tough and physical player. Not a lightweight player
Another aging player of big wages?
Banter Fc back this season
A genuine winger would quite honestly do wonders for this team. This is one of those signings where I think the cost has to be evaluated in terms of the benefit to the overall balance of the team, and not just against the player's age/resale value. I'm very much for it.
Having said that I don't actually know much about the player
If he's a winger who actually provides width and can dribble then I'm all for it.
Emery deserves at least 2 seasons worth of long-term transfer business.
I don't know what his immediate plans are, but bringing in a luxury player a week shy of his 30th birthday is quite intriguing.

A player who's place in the team won't be one injury away from being filled by one of Ljungberg's kids.

Eh?
I found myself flinching every time one of our remaining defenders got clipped yesterday.
I realise that some of these deals have been months in the making; but the last thing I expected to read today was news of a new attacking player possibly being brought in.
I am more concerned that we will continue with the likes of AMN and Litchsteiner as our right back options for the remainder of the season.
Emery style is all based around the full backs so our attacking play, without Bellerin, is seriously crippled
