Looked out his depth last year but he’s done very well down there.

I imagine he’ll get a chance in pre season, if it doesn’t work out he may well move down south permanently.

To be honest he looked good last year up until the erchie fell out of the season.

I think he suffered from the general mood in the camp and shambles the end of the season turned into.

I never really got the impression that playing for Rangers was too much for him.

More that he was just young and inexperienced and needed managed properly.

Paul Ince is worried we'll recall him apparently after motm against wolves

I never thought he looked terrific or even close to that, i thought he was a headless chicken with fantastic engine.

I've been trying to follow his loan deal, individually he seems to have done well a few good goals to in a struggling league 1 team.

He's a replacement for Coulibaly when he returns in the summer and we will see how he kicks on but personally i think the improvement from him needs to be massive to take a first team spot at Rangers.

Also refused to do their huddle so him and Halliday are our best players

As you say he lost his was after the 3-2 defeat at Ibrox.

But every credit to him he has gone down south and has had a great season so far. Getting rave reviews not just from weekend but all season via twitter etc

Lets hope he can get himself in the gaffers plans in pre season.

Been impressed with Hardie and Rudden out on loan too.

Both important players for their loan clubs and banging in goals.

Lafferty has been unlucky and not had much game time but we should move him on as he's on the decline and let one of those boys take his place as 3rd striker going into next season.

Surprised Lafferty didn't even make the bench yesterday.

That said last couple of times he has played he appeared to have completely lost the ability to control a football.

I think Docherty has potential.

I think he was a bit overawed and tried too hard, made a couple of mistakes and his head went down.

This loan move seems to be doing him the world of good so hopefully he'll come back full of confidence.

Can't see Rossiter lasting long at this rate. I think he'll be oot on his erse in the summer.

I think Rossitter will be out on loan by the end of the week.

I just don't think it is going to happen for him and we need to draw a line under him and move on.

He has been fit for ages and is getting nowhere near the team which says it all. Halliday got picked to start ahead of him in centre mid before Christmas ffs....

If he's going on loan that's ideal.

He needs to play regularly, wouldn't write him off if he can stay fit though. Definitely has a bit of class in him.

Lafferty's days are numbered with Defoe being there now, last 10 for Hail Mary punts if you need a goal is his sole worth to Rangers these days.

He would need to make the matchday squad for that

I thought he looked brutal last year and nothing even remotely resembling a footballer tbh.

Doing well at a scheidt team like Shrewsbury is probably his level in all truth. Maybe we'll recoup our money selling him down south.

He has championship teams sniffing about him so I don't think we would have much bother getting our money back.

Brutal is harsh IMO.

He is young and raw but is the stand out for Shrewsbury in League 1 so there is every suggestion that he can be effective at a higher level as he matures and learns the game.

As I say I though he looked like he had cracking potential when he came into the Gers team at first. He deffo tried to do far too much though and ended up getting a bit lost.

Not a player who will make a difference....maybe he has found his level and good luck to him...if someone offer a decent price for him then I would snap it up and use elsewhere

Apparently Wishaw General and Hairmyers are locked in a bidding war.

I would hope he's given a chance.

Coulibaly is only a loan and realistically any chance of us making that permanent seems to have gone. Docherty would seem perfect for that role, getting about the pitch hassling and supporting forward and back.

Not sure how many he's actually scored for them but it feels like a few and goals from centre midfield is an area we need to improve.

The acid test will be pre-season.

Fair enough, football is all about opinions.

Personally I think he's not good enough for us and haven't seen anything to suggest he will be.

John Fleck linked with a £4m move to West Ham today.

Has done well for himself down south - stuck at it and worked his way up the leagues.

I think if Docherty can find the role he excels at and smooths off the rough edges from his game he could do similar.

Hope he gets a chance with us.

If you look st the sheidt we put in midfield along side him it’s littke wonder it didn’t go great

High hopes for the kid

Strange one docherty. Built a good rep at Hamilton but once he cane to us he just seemed to charge about without doing much. On fire for Shrewsbury.

Should get a chance start of next season and see how it goes. Problem is, we Have loads of midfielders so might not get that chance
