The fringe players should have done better, they can do better!
We can't play with the same 11 all season, these are the type of games we should be able to switch it around but we underperformed.
Judging by the way we came back, those payers had MUCH more to give but they just didn't for 75 minutes.
Absolute rubbish. I am no fan of Lukaku, but today, we drew that game because Rashford could not finish his dinner.

Sh-t happens, oh well. At least we showed some fight in the last 5 minutes or so. Pereira messed up on the first goal but he shouldn’t take too much blame.
We needed to sit back and counter like how we beat Arsenal and Spurs
Is the Di Matteo effect starting to wear off?

Could be worse. Could be potless pitch and spurts
Can’t legislate for Pereira putting them through 3v1, or Rashford missing two golden chances, or Heaton having a blinder. On another day we win that game comfortably.
Changes were always likely to disrupt us, but I think they were necessary on balance. We need to use the squad.
Di Matteo had a really poor league record but a great cup record at Chelsea.
That was probably the most dominant 2nd half performance I have seen by us.
Solskjaer needs to stop focusing on trying to win trophies and go for top 4.

I hope so.
Agree I didn't see the need for so many changes. 3 points vs Burnley is the same as 3 against the big teams coming up.
We know our weaknesses and that's strength in depth. Lukaku, Mata, Sanchez, pereira, simply. Not good enough.

Easy here Hafi. Easy lad.
Games like today, like so often for quite a few years now, show up some of the issues in terms of personel with regards to creativity and final ball in the wide areas from the full backs.
Burnley defended well, to be fair, and made it very difficult to create anything clear cut for a lot of the game. But we’ve had so many of these games where the flaws in the squad do get exposed.
Lukaku doesn’t help with his static movement, especially against pack defences, and we looked more dangerous once he came off and the attack was more dynamic, but he was starved of service for a lot of the game.
Oh well, at least we showed character to pull it back to 2-2.
Everyone would have taken 8 wins and a draw. Just wouldn't have expected the draw to be at home to Burnley.

We are talking about professional athletes with the best sports science medical care on the planet playing two 90 minute games of football, he didn’t need to change as many as he did tonight.
First huge error from ole tonight so far, he completely underestimated them and expected us to roll them over with a second string side
For 87 mins Burnley defended superbly, and their first goal was just an unfortunate slip by pereira, when you play out from the back like that there's always that risk
Great finale though, I wouldn't be too down on the players

This is true, thought Lukaku should have stayed on and Ole sacrifice one of the full backs for Sanchez.

Problem is the squad don't fit the style of play. Watching Mata and Lukaku was painful tonight.
Its not Solskjaer fault we scored 2 goals from at least 10 good chances while the opposition scored 2 goals from 2 chances.
