looking like this loan could happen

Swansea will probably get the money they want for him this way, his contract ends in 18 months, so value is only going down.

Think they are a bit desperate to get some money back in, too many huge wages on the books.

Looks like the player is very keen on the move.

But it's to be expected, gets to go to a team top of the league, playing great football, under one of the best coaches in the world.

If he's been advised properly, it's a no brainer. We should take McBurnie too.

According to some it might also fit in their FFP plans.

Seems a £1m loan with an obligation to purchase if we go up. Swans getting another £9m or their player back in the summer.

Suits us fine I guess.

Crouch to Burnley and Vokes going the other way for 7m.

Wow

Great signing for Stoke.

If James ends up being a loan deal for £1mill and complete WHEN we get promoted then that's a great deal for us.

If we were on the other end of that deal for someone like Clarke we would be fuming in their position wouldn't we.

Who wouldn't want to play for us right now?

Could do with a spy to see if he's training with Swansea today

In other news, Phil Hay been nominated for Regional Sports Journalist of the Year award.

Hopefully the successes just keep coming for Leeds!

Looking like a done deal by the sounds of it - all they are negotiating is the type of deal that suits best parties.

What’s the deadline for registration so he can make his debut on Saturday? If not, his first Elland Road appearance will be against Swansea

Whatever happens I doubt he will start Norwich. At best on the bench.

Not inherently true. Depends on what the agreement I'd.

I am going to the Swansea game on 13th Feb, I would imagine that if the transfer goes through initially as a loan, Daniel will not be eligible to play in that game.

True for most loan deals due to conflict of interest. Can't think of any loan deals offhand where the player has played against his parent club.

There was one earlier in the season that springs to mind but can't for the life of me remember who it was.

Got it. Derby played Tomori and Mount against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup earlier this season. Both on loan from Chelsea.

May be different rules for league games though. Not sure.

Maybe. Very very rare though. I can't list one.
