At last back to the football...

Let’s hope we smash them and my view from east upper is equally as smashing. 3-1 home win

Lovely work, Highland, as ever. Just a bit puzzled why Foreshaw gets the nod over KP. Perhaps Bielsa has seen something in training, but for me, KP's distribution and tackling in that role has been second to none. However, his discipline may be an issue? I think this will be a tight, nervy encounter with both sides happy to take a point, 1 -1, 20 yards or 30 yards, Klich is scoring goals.

Providing we take our chances and put them away early, I think we'll win it. We do seem to rise to the occasion in these big home games, think we'll have to much for them. They love a late goal though so they could quite easily peg us back or turn the game around late on. As Apollo Creed said ''gotta put em away early''

Heart says a win. Head says 2-2.

Hope my head is wrong.

No puzzle.

KP got sent off, out for 3 games.

Foreshaw been playing well.

Now KP has to wait for his chance to get back in.

Gives us an option to bring KP off the bench to energize the team if needed later in the game.

Who do you think was better at Rotherham, JLA, KP or Foreshaw?

Honestly don't recall but they were playing different positions, obviously.

Interestingly, Foreshaw did not play against them at CR, but KP appeared to have an outstanding game.

See the following ratings write up:

"Kalvin Phillips - Back to his pre-Swansea performances. Metronomic in possession and did well in the air and in the tackle when necessary. Made a tremendous sliding block to deny Pukki from the edge of the box. Excellent defensive header to get the ball out for a corner with Jordan Rhodes ready to pounce just behind him. Showed his commitment with the best block of the game in the 94th minute to deny Tom Trybull and preserve the clean sheet. 8.5/10"

End of the day, I trust Bielsa.

Unless we lose, then he is rubbish!

Maybe Bielsa sees Forshaw as a better option from start, due to the tacticks.
I am a little concerned about Casilla and his field work. Had a couple of "Wiedwald-moments" regarding that, against Rotherham

People complaining about the golakeeper already

posted on 2/2/19

Not complaining. Just a little concerned about what I saw.

Because of this:
Remember when Leeds played away at Bolton, in Wiedwald's first game, and that first corner...
What we saw there, was a sign of things to come.

Can Casilla communicate with his defence?

If he's a s good as we all hope, I truly believ the season's goal will be achieved.

After 15 seasons in the lower leagues, who can blame a poor soul for... well being a little "cup half empty" instead of "cup half full" kinda' thing.

Oh I wish so much to believe.

If Leeds go up, I'm gonna go tell my boss just what I think about him.

Now, now, I will have none of those thoughts... shame on you

1st game with his new defensive team mates, bound to be like that. His CV speaks for itself, hell be great I can feel it.

As for today,mi actually think we have their number and will do a job on them today. I think we will win this game.

Rob Green also looked uncomfortable in his first few games in goal. Comes with the territory of the position.

Preferred it my way. Thanks for your good natured attempt at helping, though.

Think they’ll be 4 goals in it... can’t make my mind up though..

3 - 1 Leeds or 2 - 2...

Guess I’d be happy with either.

Jonty right though, phsycologically a win would be more than just 3 points.

God, waited so long to be involved in such a big game like this... life is almost easier at mid table level hahaha
